Looking for pre-workout supplements suggestions like the title says. So, sometimes I feel lazy and have no interest in working out, what are some supplements that will wake me up and give me the type of energy where I don't want to leave the gym?

    I have already tired:
-NO Xplode 2.0 by BSN(Good, but too much caffeine, messed with my sleep)
-Jack 3D Micro (still using, seems OK)
-Nitrix by BSN (only gave me pump)
-NO 2 Black (complete bullshit and waste of money)

Those you've tried are probably some of the better ones. C4 and Extreme NOS were okay, but honestly, I don't even use pre workouts anymore. It's all about motivation, if a preworkout can't get you going nothing will. It's all in your head man.

I've tried all of the above and the only one I remotely liked was the Jacked 3D Micro. If I'm not mistaken the Micro is a reformulation of the original Jacked which may have been pulled off the market due to some side effects experienced by users. The rest of them are pretty much garbage and I'd save my money .

As the other poster mentioned, it all comes down to motivation and the desire to make yourself get over the hump. Caffeine and thermogenic supplements can be tricky and outright bad for you if you use them too much. At some point two, three......scoops aren't enough.

If you really need something along those lines then I'd try the Advocare Spark. Aside from the mass marketing angle it really is a good product that bypasses any jitters or overwhelming desire to go take a crap in the middle of a workout. Vega also makes a pre-workout drink mix that is pretty good. It's vegan which pretty much eliminates all the bullshit though the product can be awfully gritty. Taste is solid though read the ingredients carefully if you suffer or potentially have some diet allergies. My stand by these days is EmergenC from Alacer. Powdered mix full of vitamin c that you just mix with water. Gives you just enough of a boost to get past the lack of motivation head games. It's also primo for the immune system when you have a cold.

I think before any workout it is good to drink some energy drink and protein shake is best energy drink. We should avoid using any pill before workout because sometime supplements are not good for health.

I just started taking Muscle Pharm's Assault. A friend of mine swears by it. It tastes good. I am still working on the dosage. At times I don't know if I can feel it; other times I over-compensate and dose too much, which gives me the shakes. It's rated high on various websites.

I recommend mesomorph pre workout. Great for energy focus and pump. One of the top pre workouts out IMO. I wish DMAA was still available though haha.
