    Alright everybody. Lots of changes since last season. New owner, new employees, new players and spending policy, new promotions, and a new approach to social media.

    So what do you guys think? Will it translate to attendance? Will the name change bring in more fans or will it further muddy the waters? Will we be able to sustain our numbers in the Metrodome?

    Here's my prediction for tomorrow's game (4/6) against San Antonio in the Dome Opener:
    @Minnesota - 8,500

    I think we'll get a very slight bump from last season, but I don't think we'll get very close to the 10k team President Nick Rogers said was the goal.

    And I'm not sure that if we did we could sustain it, but here's to hoping for a new era in MN soccer!

    I would have liked this to be higher, and it also seemed like last year there were more people in the Dark Clouds section too although that could have been because I was in the front row last year and not this year.

    From the videos I've seen, last year's DC section did look like it was more full--at least before kickoff. But I think that the next home game's 2:30 start time will actually be a huge benefit, and I wouldn't be surprised if they match or beat that first game's attendance. They've got two weeks off now, so it's time for all that new staff Dr. Bill has hired to start selling.

    I've talked to a number of first timers who went to Saturday's game, and the general conclusions were 1) Wow, what a great time! I never knew soccer could be this much fun, and 2) But then nobody scored for an hour and a half ...

    So hopefully the break and the time change work in our favor, and hopefully the guys will be able to finish some chances.

    I think it's going to take time to grow your numbers. But encouraged with the steps that the new owner is doing to grow the fan base. I think it's better to see slower sustainable growth then a spike. The new folks they hired need time to get out there and sell and build those relationships.

    Speaking of finishing, will Campos be back for the next game?

    Yeah so it was about 2.5 less... I hope it at least levels off at 4, that is a good number. Don't get me wrong I would love to see it a lot higher, but that is at least better than the 1.5 they were pulling two years ago.
