I need to get me one of those scarves. Do I already need to be an "official" member of Dark Clouds or can I get one if I sign up now.
They did a limited run of 50 scarves, but they may still have some. I'd go to the Dark Clouds Facebook page and private message them. My understanding is that you'll be able to sign up now and get one (while supplies last).
The scarfs are to be sold at the home opener to members, so if ya got a membership by then and get there early enough at that game you should be fine.
DuNord has a good interview with Nick Rodgers (club President) on a bunch of different topics about the club including the rebranding Link to show
Sorry to intrude, just curious to know how did trialist Anthony Salciccia look in the game yesterday?
I wasn't really sure about the rebranding but after hearing what Mr. Rodgers had to say. It sounds like there are alot of great things about to happen in Minnesota.
Not sure how he looked, but he picked up a goal in the second 70 minute game. John Marthaler over at the Star Tribune's SoccerCentric blog said all the young guys showed well.
According to MNUFC's playbyplay guy all home games will be done in HD. sorry not sure how to exactly post a tweet but if interested in following him, his handle is @mnunitedpbp
Great to hear. Minnesota's stream quality was actually worse last year than the year before for some reason, and one of the worst in the league. Hope the other teams work on stream quality as well.
I'm hoping this opens the door for some local TV coverage, but I doubt that's in the cards. Thanks for the excellent news, NORML
I haven't been able to find anything either, but there is this tweet from @. Just got back to the hotel from @mnunitedfc win and turned on the @ussoccer game. That's a lot of snow.— Kevin Friedland (@kfried6) March 23, 2013 So apparently we "won." I'd still like to hear about how and how well, though. EDIT: Never mind. Here's a full game summary.
Does anybody on here know anything about how many tickets have been sold for the Dome Opener? Or season tickets for that matter. I just asked the same question on another board, but I thought I'd throw it out here too. Team President Nick Rogers said on the du Nord podcast that anything less than 10k would feel like a failure. Is there a sense that we're close to that number 10(ish) days out? Have any of you been contacted by the ticket office?
Well they did get about 8k last year, and I thought I remember seeing on the FB page that all the pitch side tickets were sold out for the home opener and they were almost sold out for the season ticket pitch side. So if that is an indication then we probably are looking good. I know I haven't purchased my tickets yet and I know there are people like me who haven't yet but are for sure going, and then all the people who are going to buy at the gate. I would say we will probably get 10k but we shall see.
It'll be interesting to see how they do attendance wise for the 2nd to 6th games at the Metro-Dome as well. Hopefully not sub 3000 crowds for most of them.
From the bitching going on in the Chicago FIRE forums, I can tell you the the Stars, sorry United won the game 1 to 0.
Sorry for the mess with the link but Capt. Kyle Altman will return for at least the Spring portion of the season. http://www.startribune.com/sports/blogs/200548281.html
