Rennes suck without Alessandrini. We dont have to worry about them finishing top 3. OM caught a break.

It would be great if it happened though. I'm sick of them still being refered to as the "biggest club in France" when they are as poor as they are. They probably only trail Celtic FC for the honor of being the biggest club with the least amount of money (in Europe)

"biggest club" is an arbitrary title. France has a super-rich club now in Paris. We don't need an super-shady club now too.

I posted it because I was hoping she's planning on selling the team and or Tapie's bringing sponsors and money but she shot it all down. The supporters aren't going to stand for the status quo much longer.

Its not a new stadium its just a patchup job. They're doing the best they can do with it with limited funds. Its not like Lille's stadium and they cant even get a sponsor for it.

and no one with that kind of money money is going to live even part of the year in sainté. oh, there's some beautiful countryside in the pilat and the forez, but if near as the crow flies still too remote in driving time. and nothing to do there either. so any petrocrat is going to be a 110% absentee owner and that doesn't get it done.

Speaking of former great clubs who will never ever return to their past heights and glories, Reims just beat PSG.

Five red cards in Bastia - Ajaccio, a proper Corsican derby.

It's not so much that they suck at playing, it's that they couldn't score in a brothel and therefore return to their old demons.
