Rennes suck without Alessandrini. We dont have to worry about them finishing top 3. OM caught a break.
Bernard Tapie is going to bring sponsors and money to OM. http://www.foot01.com/equipe/marseille/tapie-de-retour-a-l-om-ce-serait-dans-les-tuyaux,106901
It would be great if it happened though. I'm sick of them still being refered to as the "biggest club in France" when they are as poor as they are. They probably only trail Celtic FC for the honor of being the biggest club with the least amount of money (in Europe)
"biggest club" is an arbitrary title. France has a super-rich club now in Paris. We don't need an super-shady club now too.
to me she looks like a barbie doll some poor girl's big brother took a lighter to. but that's more the surgery than the makeup.
Stéphane Ruffier linked to Milan ACJuventus de Turin. he's our number 2 at this point ! http://www.madeinfoot.com/infos/article-asse-l-italie-courtise-ruffier-49724.html
I posted it because I was hoping she's planning on selling the team and or Tapie's bringing sponsors and money but she shot it all down. The supporters aren't going to stand for the status quo much longer.
Exactly why St. Etienne will never be a big club again. They wont be able to hold on to their best players like they did pre Bosman era. The only hope is a sale to owners to who spend more money.
dude i can see an american millionaire buying this club or even a french millionaire even a Chinese millionaire .....why not you know? they got a new stadium being build and the history and fans ! it would be a shoe in !
Its not a new stadium its just a patchup job. They're doing the best they can do with it with limited funds. Its not like Lille's stadium and they cant even get a sponsor for it.

and no one with that kind of money money is going to live even part of the year in sainté. oh, there's some beautiful countryside in the pilat and the forez, but if near as the crow flies still too remote in driving time. and nothing to do there either. so any petrocrat is going to be a 110% absentee owner and that doesn't get it done.
Speaking of former great clubs who will never ever return to their past heights and glories, Reims just beat PSG.
It's not so much that they suck at playing, it's that they couldn't score in a brothel and therefore return to their old demons.
saint etienne is doing very good.. good management and stability and they could be contender in a few seasons
I like Leonardo but he is getting hammered for his PSG is built for Europe not for these kinds of games (after the loss) and deservedly so. Like someone else said, Baca and Real have no problem beating the Spanish minnows. Menes, Courbis, and Jean-Michel Larqué are really killing him. http://www.foot01.com/ligue1/larque...uitter-le-psg-et-d-aller-voir-ailleurs,107353
