There defense may not be vintage but it has some of the most depth in Italy. If Roma has their defense all season we'd be fighting for the title. They have decent forwards, now one less with Milito but only 4-5 goals separate them from the high end of goals in the league outside of Roma and Juventus. Between Milito, Cassano and Palacio they have over 85 goals in the season in a half. To me these are excuses, he's under-utilizing the talent he's been given. I don't think their title contenders but their better than they've been playing.
sometimes things dont workout as well as they seem to do on paper...I think he is doing a good job in his first season as a manager he is young and Inter is a big job.
No table places but our win today plus the Inter-AC Milan draw means there's only 5 points (pending Lazio's result tomorrow) separating places 3-8. Not overly optimistic but if we can stop losing points to lower table clubs over the next few matches we can at least go into the Derby, Fiorentina and then maybe AC Milan matches with a chance at the CL spot. Nothing about our season leads to me think this will happen but it's certainly still possible.
Wanted to say long time already what DDR just said a couple of posts ago...If Catania coach were Montella this year, everyone would have talked what a genius coach he is... Heck, even this year, some claim this Catania side was build by Montella... On the other hand, I am a bit more skeptical about any Catania coach abilities, as I hardly remember even the dumbest of the coaches who has failed there, including Simeone and Mihajlovic... And definitely, this season is the best for Catania, not the one last year...

Diego Simeone is hardly a bad coach.He has won 2 league titles in Argentina with 2 different teams,Europa lge with Atletico and his side sit currently 2nd in La Liga ahead of Real and he's only 42.He may be a lot of things but a dumb coach is not one of them

Cavani should have burried that sitter, it was costly. I dont get the hype on the mighty Insigne, two games he played I dont see the crime in him being bench player. This 2 games proves to me why he deserves to be bench player. He just reminds me of Menez till now, Spalletti didnt play him just because he is young.When you gonna "fight" for scudetto you play the best available no matter the age.
