Funniest fecking show on TV atm. Anyone who says otherwise doesnt know anything about comedy.

Its a shame they make an episode once every 2 months.

I recently just watched the Shinjuku incident. What a movie. on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it 10/10. Main Actor is Jackie Chan but its not one of those martial arts movie. its a serious drama about Chinese migrants to japan. the story is very powerful and even though it wasn't in English ( i watched with subtitles) its was easy to follow the story.

best movie i watched this year by a mile.

Just watched ESPN's 30 for 30 documentary the Two Escobars. Great flick. Its about Columbian soccer in the late 80's-94 world cup and follows Pablo Escobar and Andres Escobar. Fascinating stuff. Was too young back when it happened to really know any of that.

Did since the last installment of the Fast & Furious. I did see the other 3 & now there is a new one coming out in the next couple of weeks. So the question to ask you all, which Fast & Furious was the best??? The first one or the one from last year???

Yeah, but there are some hotties in those movies. You have to admit that. You have Chick flix & you have guy flix. This genre would fall under that catagory :D

yes but you could just watch pron if you want that :D

i had to pretend to like the movies once or twice so groups wont think i suck (i hate being a party pooper)

but the films werent soooo bad, they have some appeal to them, action, cars, unintentionally hilarity (watching Vin Diesel act).

The first one was passable, the rest are terrible with the 2nd being the worst. Sadly I have seen them all, but I'm a car guy and I keep hoping someday there will be a decent new car movie.

Thought it was great honestly. I've been a fan of the franchise since I was a kid, and this one was up there with the best for me

enjoyed it as well and am very interested to see the progression from the darker Bond who seemed to be separating from many of the Bond traditions (gadgets, Moneypenny, etc.) to a potentail relaunch of the entire series

have to say that Craig has given me a new appreciation of Timothy Dalton. Recently watched his Bonds again and think he is getting better each time I see him.

What are your top/bottom Bond films?

The first ones I saw for me, as a kid, will always be in my top: Thunderball, Dr. No, Goldfinger, FRWL, also quite enjoyed Live and Let Die. I would put Casino Royale and Skyfall in there though

Hmmmm....I will show my age and remark that I am possibly "younger" than Walter. My first Bond movies; From "The Spy Who Loved Me", "Moonraker" and "For Your Eyes Only" era.

My favorite is Never Say Never Again. And I don't like Craig as a Bond at all.

I more or less have a similar grouping of favourites now. I still think On Her Majesty's Secret Service is one of the most underrrated and very good Bonds which gets the snub because of Lazenby. I am a huge fan of Thunderball and Dr. No and as with Cris think The Spy Who Loved Me should be an easy top 10, if not higher, inclusion. From Russia With Love is an excellent one as well and is a very good portrayal of the actual spy Bond is/should be. Overall, Goldfinger is my personal favourite.

As for the worst- well sadly time has made me a much harsher critic of both Moore and Brosnon, whom I thought were good at the time. Cris wont be happy with this but I thought Moonraker was not that good, albiet funny, and the campy Moore ran his course with Octopussy and the final death knell of A View to a Kill. Not a huge fan of Diamonds are Forever or Never Say Never Again (sorry yas) for Connery.

as above I find the time which has passed and the Bonds who have been played seem to change. Growing up it was a strict Connery #1 and Moore #2 ruling and nothing else but the timelessness of the films allows me to go back and have a serious look at them and judge them again. Amazing that several made over 50 years ago are still excellent today.

I think you are the first person I have heard say that they dont like Craig as Bond, but horses for courses I suppose. I think he is quite good.

Never Say never Again was just a remake of Thunderball no? I refuse to even own that one as part of the series, my Dad likes it though.

TSWLM is def one I forgot to mention, great film.

I don't like Craig as Bond b/c he doesn't fit MY profile of a Bond from Fleming's books. Dalton and Brosnan fit that profile perfectly. There's not enough intellect in Craig's character or his facial features to justify a Bond persona. I know that sounds stupid, but I can't help it. I like Craig in movies where he plays a bad ass Jew (Munich, Defiance). :)

It's hard for me to separate Brosnan from his movies, because, for me, they were generally quite poor

I like Moore...but it was because he introduced me to Bond as he was the James Bond for me in the theaters growing up. Connery Bond movies were already classics in the making. I don't know what it was about Brosnan but I thought he was a poor Bond and the movies were just kinda "meh". It was just like Remington Steele on steroids.

As far as Moore...yeah, his bond movies were getting to be a little bit more comical than your typical spy flick...especially A View to a Kill which I loved because I was still a kid when it came out, but he stated, he didn't even want to do it and was embarrassed that his love interest was young enough to be his daughter. At the time, I also loved Moonraker simply because of Star Wars, The Black Hole and Star Trek the Motion picture. Space was "cool". I recall Moonraker was pushed up over "For Your Eyes Only" simply to capitalize on the Star Wars success.

Technically Dalton was the current in theater Bond when I was a kid at first(and Brosnan when I was a teen) but my dad had me watch all the old ones before I saw anything new, so for me, Connery was what I knew first. He was a big Moore fan too, so no one ever lived up to those two as Bonds, until Craig.

yes sir, funky 70s Roger Moore is the bond for me.

This is how i rank em:
Moore - what did he have that no other bond had? Christopher Walken guys... Christopher Walken
Connery - 50 nos and yesh means yesh
    Dalton - License to Kill
    Craig - decent reboot
    Brosnan - see below
    Lazenby - nuff said

I put Brosnan below Craig because:
    A) Denise Richards played a scientist HAH!
    B) Tomorrow never dies was probably the worst thing that happened to cinema
    C) Die Another Day was probably the worst thing that ever happened to my life.

Jaws rocks. Really one of the uber cool bad guys- I always found myself rooting for him.

I have really gone of Brosnan a lot, but when I get too critical, I try to apply the Timothy Dalton theory of considering the time period the movies where made and applying as such. I think Brosnan really struggled from shitty scripts which were over gadgeted (makes sense for the time period) but they just dont hold up well.

Going to be interesting where they decide to move on with the next Bond film.
