Hard to believe a team like Seongnam, who use to be so good, is now in relegation rounds...

They're not in any danger of regulation, though it's pretty depressing what happened after their ACL win. Lost Jung Sung Yong, Choi Sung Guk (Though is was actually good for them), Sasha, Molina, Radoncici, Kim Jung Woo(never got to play him), and even Cho Dong Gun to the Suwon bench. Hong Chul went to crap and so did Yoon Bitgarem when they got him. Han Sang Woon looked really promising and he had a 1 good NT A match vs Uzbekistan and got pick up by a J-League team. I think he played 12 games for Seongam? It's a completely different team from 3 years ago. At least they still have their famous manager.

Mathemtically, yes, they are safe. But it's crazy to see what they turned out in 3 years. I fear the the same could happen to FC Seoul. Hell, it happened in China. Dalian Aerbin, 7 time league winners were bought-out by Dalian Shide. Crazy stuff.

Your precious MK Seouls will be fine...it's corporate owned. They're not going anywhere anytime.

Seongnam...I don't know if Moon's death will have any impact on Seongnam's budget but a Church owned club is much less safe than a successful Corporation owned club.

Seoul lose all their players? To who? We might play shitty for a year or two like Pohang did but no way we're getting into the same situation as Seongnam. Got to look at the financial side of things.

    Incheon United's 2012 Team

    Seol Ki hyeon
    Nam Joon jae--------Ivo-------Han Kyo won
    Kim Nam il---Koo Bon sang
Park Tae min---Lee Yoon pyo---Jung In hwan---Kim Han seob
    Yoo hyun
Add to that, super-subs like Moon Sang-yoon and Park Jun-tae. Moon Sang-yoon is in contention for K-league's young player award but Pohang Steeler's Lee Myung-joo is the most likeliest candidate to win it.
They currently sit on a 17 match unbeaten record. They have the lowest conceded tally out of Group B. They are first in Group B and will most likely finish the season as first in Group B.
The most important person of this team this season has been:
    The manager Kim Bong-gil.
The reason Incheon United finished the season on a high was because of him. Incheon was in a mess at the start of the season and by the time Huh Jung-moo resigned we all thought Incheon was the likeliest team to be relegated. But thanks to Kim Bong-gil (who took over in July this year) Incheon will go into next season as a dark horse in K-league. Although there have been alot of draws, having a 17 match unbeaten streak is quite amazing.
They'll definitely lose Lee Yoon-pyo next season, due to his service issues, which might damage their centre-back line. Lee Yoon-pyo and captain Jung In-hwan combo was far the best centre-back line in the second half of K-league. Going into next season, that might be the biggest task for Kim Bong-gil to solve - finding Lee Yoon-pyo's replacement. Also, Ivo has been the only foreigner that has done well for Incheon this year. They'll need more better foreigner players.
Just to remind myself again, Incheon United will definitely be a dark horse next season.
This is the Incheon's photo of the season, when they defeated FC Seoul 3:2. The man in the middle of the pile with the suit is Kim Bong-gil.

    Chunnam Dragons 2-0 Seongnam

Lee Jong-ho double secures Chunnam Dragons from relegation. They can look forward to next season in K-league but they'll definitely need to improve. Good thing Lee Jong-ho has been finding his goal scoring form lately but he still needs improve alot.
Now, everything is secured for Chunnam, the interesting topic will be Yoon Suk-young and his next destination..

While for Seongnam, they continued their win-less streak to 6 (5 losses and 1 draw). The last they won was against Gwangju back in September.

FC Seoul = MK Dons? Wasn't their the whole K-League Decentralization Policy which forced them to move from Seoul to Anyang in the first place?

They got forced out of Seoul along with other Seoul based clubs. But the Anyang people really liked the move and their new club(Seoul didn't). Still the LG group saw better things back in Seoul, so after 7 years they came back and left their fans for a new world cup stadium. The plan kinda worked but they were labeled as sell outs by Anyang supporters and other football fans. I'd be kinda bitter if i was a fan but it makes sense on the business side of things (unlike the jeju move). In the end it's a club owned by a big company, which sucks but that's how a lot of modern sports teams operate now.

The whole situation was sad and i hope Korean clubs can stick with 1 home from now on and build a fan base and history. We could have had 3 teams with great rivalries in our capital city, like London does, but instead we have nearly empty stadiums in Seongnam and Jeju, coupled with bitter, cheated people in Bucheon and Anyang. At least the clubs are getting the playing part right, or better than the rest of Asia.

Also hate the move because it spawned a hoard of pretentious idiots (who had nothing to do with it) that give Seoul fans shit, while they go watch Park Ji Sung on TV. Had the unpleasant experience of meeting one in public... there might be some right here...

I disagree with you about Bucheon/Jeju. While the whole relocation of clubs is such an American/sell-out sh*t to do, the difference between Bucheon and Anyang was that Anyang had one of the best attendances and fanbases while Bucheon was like any other K-League club...they didn't draw much and as the club got worse and worse every year, Bucheon supporters seem to have been declining. Not to mention the move to Jeju wasn't exactly like a move to Seoul...Jeju isn't a big market. But Jeju are definitely on the rise...their attendances has gotten better along with the talent on that squad.

Edit: actually i meant to agree with you about Jeju...you're right that it wasn't smart business move. I've been drinking cabernet all day.

They didn't need to disturb Anyang. If they really wanted another club in Seoul, they could have build a brand new one instead. It wouldn't have made a difference; if anything there would probably be a new rival and better overall attendances in K-League because of Anyang and Seoul both together.
