This year's challenge has been met, now go and finish runner-up in the Nadeshiko League next year (behind FC Takahashi).
I'll play the game of differences! From 2011 to 2012, we have Fukumoto instead of Kaihori as GK (reflecting the change or order that happened in NT), the exact same defense line, Sakaguchi instead of Ji So-Yun at MF, and Takase + Asano Nagasato instead of Iwabuchi and Ohno (Kawasumi only FW who "survived" ). Lol, an-turtar, if next year's Nadeshiko League will end with Takahashi as a winner and Vegalta as runners up, I swear I'll owe you something! I accept any bet! (By the way, it's good to see that you're not superstitious at all, since Takahashi still has to know if it will PLAY at all in Nadeshiko league next season, apart from the question of winning it... )
It'll be no problem, the Sayama players are waking up in cold sweat every night from the nightmares they're having about what this woman is going to do to them. Hopefully they'll get a good start in the home leg, maybe I'll make a "Never mind we'll win it next year!" sign to go with my "2013 Nadeshiko League Champions" sign. It's a good job I'm not superstitious, since I've seen them three times now and they've never won when I'm there. I've seen eighteen goals in those games, so I suppose I got good value.
Today's small news: Takatsuki announced three new players - Horiuchi Sayaka (18), Takatani Misato (22) and Yoshioka Kasumi (21) - will join it next year. I don't know about them at all. In addition, a small present for you; part of this year's all star game. You can see Naomoto, Yokoyama, Wada and Azami along with the other famous players.
Thank you very much, both for the news (this time they are small but they are "reliable" ; in fact they are even when you say they are "unreliable" ) and for the present!
TODAY'S MAIN NEWS: Bunnys Kyoto are running a competition to name their "image characters". For the A-chan girl it just has to be Mimi.
Well, I guess the C character should be called Tomomi-chan or similar: doesn't she resemble captain Akiyama? Or maybe she could be named after Akiyama's little daughter! Anyway these are indeed BIG NEWS for all of us Bunnies' fans : are we somehow entitled to vote? Can it be done through the web? Meanwhile, Virany has uploaded highlights from last sunday's SC 07 Bad Neuenahr-FCR 2001 Duisburg, here: I guess we can say that Duisburg (and Ando in particular, who was great IMO, judging by highlights) was quite unlucky...
Not sure if any of you having access to Moukoko/Girafferunfast You Tube channel gave a look to Anclas-Urawa's highlights + post-match... I have to say it was really touching. I am sorry for umptenth Urawa's useless loss, but I have to say that I am happy for Anclas' girls: they deserved this day of utter joy in front of their supporters, after a difficult season, and now they can go to Challenge League with their heads up!
Japan’s Sport Council announced the winner of a contest to design a new national stadium. other design is here.
KAP, probably Moukoko doesn't always check his Bigsoccer PMs. I asked him directly on his You Tube account's private messaging (but I suppose you have to create a You Tube account of your own to do it, KAP). I suppose you know already the address of Girafferunfast/Moukoko You Tube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/girafferunfast): if you subscribe to it, then you can PM Moukoko there and he should answer; make sure that he recognizes you, though (I mean, if you choose a different name from KAPIJXM for your You Tube account, tell him who you are on BigSoccer threads ).
Apparently she was listed as FW for the vote this year too. Some say that may be the reason why she didn't get many votes as it may have affected her impression as an forward because she often played almost as an midfielder.
It looks fantastic. I hear the winner is a British? Anyway I think it's a British firm anyway. Although it looks nice from outside, I'm more interested inside. I wish it had retractable stands. It's obviously for track and field like the current national stadium. I know the national stadium still remains as a special venue for footballers in Japan because of its history but personally the atmosphere is not great compared to stadiums purpose built for football/rugby. I've been to the national stadium a few times but it wasn't great. There were some rumors last year, they may build a stadium or expand existing one (I forgot the name - the one in Kita-ku, Tokyo) for women's football. I wonder what happened... It would be nice to have a smaller size stadium where they can fill when they play cup finals - atmosphere is much better with packed stadium even if it's smaller...
Sorry if I didn't answer you right away, KAP: was busy. My channel is Blissett2012 (http://www.youtube.com/user/blissett2012?feature=guide), but you won't find anything interesting there: I just add videos coming from the usual suspects: Virany, Giraffe, etc. So you won't find anything that you didn't already found on those...
You have to be a school pupil I'm afraid. The A girl immediately reminded me of my favourite Waku Waku 7 character, Arina, with her big rabbit ears. Here's Nagano celebrating winning against Nagoya with a knees-up, except for Misa for whom they haven't sorted out shorter shorts. Be careful girls, you have another leg tomorrow, it's not over yet! Looking forward to seeing how these girls do next year. Tanaka Mika looks ready for action. It'll be interesting to see which teams are given the right to achieve promotion.
Look's very futuristic, but definitely the kind of futuristic the creative minds from the 80's probably foresaw, lol. Hmmm, anybody seen this before....?
