Since Bunnies officially avoided relegation, I had said "Please everyone say: GO BUNNIES!", but no-one said: GO BUNNIES! :(:(:(

Can Sayama avoid regulation? When did they get promoted out of challenge league?

While I was looking into Sayama's history, I found an interesting note.

The famous Noda Akemi played in Takarazuka Bunnys (the predecessor of Bunnys Kyoto) as her last club in 1995 and 96, and Takarazuka Bunnys got through the deciding games for the promotion to the L1 league together with Ohara Gakuen (the current Nagano Parceiro) in 2003 December ahead of Belle and Sayama.

Hey that used to be my Avatar!
By the way, any and every Bunnies fan MUST see Giraffe's video that I posted before.

Also from Giraffe, the Beleza v Speranza highlights and interviews which include a nice closing ceremony and a Mana appearance, not to mention Asano and her poker.

Speaking of Mana, what words does Aya yell at her here?

I love that Nadeshiko players shoot from mid-long range, is a good strategy vs. all defense teams :)

Nice short doco about Yuki. Note her good German.
Brief summary: commentator states that Yuki has been with Potsdam since 2010 and aquired her skills as forward in Germany during that time. Yuki indicates that it was difficult to adapt to the faster game in Germany, being used to a slower, more tactical game in Japan. Commentator touched on her marriage a year ago and that the couple is currently not living together. Yuki says it is difficult and sometimes makes her sad to live apart, but that football is currently more important to her.
    Nice little interview.:)

Thanks, Tokinosumika! I had just asked yesterday (or two days ago) if Mobcast's draw had taken place yet, and now you answer me! :giggle:
I am going to update the Mobcast Cup's thread I created on Women's International, so also non-Nadeshiko-threaders get involved... :p

I'll just say that I am happy that Olympique Lyonnais and INAC don't have to meet right away, because it would make a great final match. ;) Although obviously Beleza could give OL an hard time.

Thanks very much for the translation. I have to say I am really impressed by Yuki's ease in answering the questions in German: getting such a proficiency in a foreign language in just 2 years is an oustanding achievement. But did Yuki learnt everything from scratch in Germany, or had she studied German in Japan already? o_O

Am I the only in this forum that don't want a OL vs. INAC final?

I got it off Au_turtar's blogpost. Needed to send some love to the Bunnies as they faced regulation. Hope the Bunnies find that spark that has been missing to make the Bunnies competitive next Season. Speaking of the next season some thoughts:

From the videos it reminds me of how many big names Beleza has injured like a few other teams that should be back next season.

Albi has been without Sugusawa for most of the season after looking so good at the Kirin cup challenge. Riverdance missed the last part of the season with INAC.

After getting to see so much young talent in the U-20 and U-17 WWC's, will these players get playing time next season? Narumiya, Inoue, Hasegawa, Michigami the list goes on.

Will Senior players like Ymago make room for the younger players? Will Yamgo go into coaching?

The big quetion for me is if Sayama is regulated, will Rie Azami (Thistle in the translations) find a team that needs a good sleeveless forward to balance with good long sleeved players? :)
