Hmm... you must be East Asian Supporter as you sound so confident!

TBH i wish alhilal ends up with east-Asian road to the final , not because I think they are weak or something ... I just miss the est-Asian games vs alhial

this new style is hard to get used to :/

I just realized that there was no separation of regions for the later round draws, and the quarterfinals were not for quite a long time. As to hammad_friend, I meant that at the moment all other teams on the other side of the bracket save for those two seem weaker than Hilal/Ittihad, and even those two are on par. By 'show up' I meant 'reach the final'.

Bigsoccer was down for a long time and the new style alienated a lot of people. Hopefully they will come back. :(

As for our results, the Saudi teams are doing great! I really think one of our teams can bring the trophy home this season!

Hilal were decent I thought. Surprised by Zoori. Probably their best player. Don't know why he played Yasser al-Shahrani on the right.
Should've gotten something, but they were let down by individual mistakes. The goal came from a bad backpass.

They were decent I thought. In the first half they were a little slow on the ball and made some individual mistakes. They fixed things up in the second half where they were the better team.

I'd say they're favourites for the second leg.

Unfortunately I couldn't watch any of the matches yesterday, I only cached the highlights.

It seems Ittihad is in a very good position to start from in the 2nd leg, and I think the "conservative" way they have been playing under Caneda may help them to hold the lead.

Considering Alahli defensive weakness, it will be very difficult for them to not concede a goal at home, which is the work need to be done when a 0-0 away is in their pocket.

As for Alhilal, I think if both Y20 and Lopez played in the starting 11, they will score. The players must be under huge pressure right now.

Even though Ittihad qualified to next round but I believe that they were Extremely Lucky as Guangzhou Evergrande dominated the match and were near to score on 2 occasions, at least, if the ball had not hit the wood work... but It's great to See that Saudi Clubs are at least keeping the Green Flag alive and letting it fly sky high which was not done by the National Team ...

As for Ittifaq, they really choke when it matters most ... Could you believe that the Kuwaiti Team scored their 4th Goal when they were even a man down ... Ittifaq really needs to do drastic changes in the 2nd Leg if they want to play in the final ... I recon no matter how hard Ittifaq try, they are out of the Final's showdown....

For Al Hilal, it is a must win situation with an intention not to let the Korean Team score ... Al Hilal should really push for 02 goals advantage in the 1st half and then look for 3rd goal in the 2nd half to be on the safe side ... but I have a strong feeling that the match will be decided in the extra time where Hilal would have massive home ground advantage... Hope Hilal plays the Final though, Insha' Allah

Let's hope that it becomes All Saudi Final !...

Sure, we had some hairy moments but we also had our own chances and more importantly the winning mentality to not cave in. We deserve to be in the semifinal.

Talk is cheap. Wait until after your game with Ulsan. You might choke like you did against a certain Qatari team.

Oh and LOL at the "massive home advantage". when was the last time you filled your stadium?

Hey guys, i need to ask you something and i want you to be totally honest with me. I've kept it in for a while now but it's time to be straight up and just confront you. I hope this doesn't ruin anything we have, i just need to know and i don't see any other way i could get over this. Just wouldn't seem fair if I don't get an answer. I want you to tell me truthfully, please, no matter how harsh it is I just want your honest opinion.. Would you choose pepsi or coke?

Mega "Bomber" ... Ulsan really out-classed Hilal today ... Never seen such worst, miserable and biggest defeat of Al Hilal, and that too on Home Ground, before.

A nightmare for All Al Hilal fans ... No Comment what went wrong but whatever it was, Al Hilal simply got washed aside as if it was a team from some 3rd world country... Ulsan players were fast, tall and well-built... even their short player was sprinting as if he's running in 100 meters race ... Al Hilal ... tch tch tch ...

Al Ittihad deserve to play the final as only Al Ittihad can play a fast tempo game at the moment ... not Al Hilal, not Al Ahli even I am afraid.

I am afraid it went all wrong ... 2 goals "Yes" but for who ?... Ulsan !
Then Ulsan score 3rd in the 2nd half and it was only a matter of time for them to score 4th ... though they were unlucky not to score a 5th goal ...
Home Ground Advantage was useless and did nothing but to hurt the fans just as the Saudi National Team hurt fan's feelings...

Total disappointing day for Al Hilal in particular, and Saudi Soccer in general... :(

I hate Majed Marshadi ... he is better off as a "Model" in any newspaper or advertisement agency than being Al Hilal's main defender ...

Al Hilal lack mature players as well as talented players as compared to other big Saudi club ... is this the same team that beat Al Shabab 3-0 almost week ago ????... Can't believe this result and feels horrible and enraged to see such a game result ... winning and losing is a part of game but losing by 1 goal or by 2 goals to 1 is acceptable and understable even losing 2-0 is respectable but losing by such huge margin is totally miserable, condemnable !!!...

I didn't see that coming! From the highlights it looks like they cought you on the counter. Also terrible goalkeeping for their first goal.
