But you said nowadays so you were comparing it to the past. Korean players will always be in a disadvantage in terms of move to European clubs because of military duty.
I like to add on to toohyper's answer. Also Koreans players do not go to Europe for a cheap price unlike the Japanese players most of the time they go for very cheap or a free transfer. A good example is Kagawa moving to Dortmund for only 300,000 euros. He was practically playing for peanuts. If the Koreans did the same thing then I will be pretty sure there would be more Koreans in Europe than right now.
