Yes. I doubt it will sell out. You should have no problem obtaining tickets at Lockhart on game day.

True. If we're lucky we'll draw 7,000 to this game. Lockhart seats about 18,000. Gameday tickets are $12.00 for General Admission & $18.00 for sideline reserved - the best seats in the house.

Remember to arrive early for the free beer...;).... Hope to see you on the 2nd!

Tickets'll definitely be available there, but it's $2 cheaper to order them via the Strikers website I believe.

Hopefully be there! Transport back to South Beach has still not been sorted yet though, so will see what we can do when we arrive on the Thursday.

Don't sweat the return trip. If it's only 2 of you one of us will haul you back to South Beach.

Cheers Antique, all being well we'll see you at the tailgate pre-match. I suppose I'd better wear my Scotland shirt!

Good game Strikers! Anyone down near Ralph's Mob that can tell me what happened after the 3rd goal? Saw some strikers fans in the Mob area in the comotion.

After the goal, 3 players went to taunt the Tampa fans, and at one point, Laing even exited the field and had to be restrained by a security guard. The mob also went down to field level to get up close and personal.

Then the fans behind the goal on the field got into an argument with the Tampa fans, and kept pointing at the scoreboard

ohh you mean the douchbag posers without Strikers gear that sit at fieldside seats and acted like pumped-up hools without testicles from down South.

You guys have a great rivalry with a lot of emotion, I'll be sure to watch the next game's stream between the teams!

You poor babies. They taunted you by pointing at the scoreboard. How horrible they reminded that your team lost....:p....They sound like Tampa Bay fans toward us when we go to Al Lang.

Did anyone stomp on your national flag & wipe their feet on it? Or, like Atlanta, steal a flag or banner & taunt you about it online? No. They teased you, taunted you and insulted you by pointing at the scoreboard. HORRORS!!! !

I'm sure that the Mob was circumspect & polite at all times & complimented the Striker fans and players each time they scored. That they had nothing to say when the score was 1-0 for the Rowdies.........Simple fact; if you give it, expect it back. If you can't take it, don't give it.

OTOH, I do think that a more isolated area can be found for you. One well away from any and all Striker fans with your own restrooms, etc. That way when the insults you give are given back your tender sensibilities won't be damaged.

Now, go back to the Rowdies forum and whine to your hearts content. Just keep the following in mind: STRIKERS 3 v 1 Rowdies....

Thanks. In many ways most of us, on both sides, feel it's the best one in NASL. Many of us would like to see it taken to MLS, but that's a whole 'nother story for a time in the future. Until then we're really satisfied with what we have and hope it can continue for many years.

Pretty sure WSW could care less about the taunting. He is talking about the fact that those beer garden douche bags were obviously at their first Strikers game and that there wasn't a Strikers jersey to be seen in that area.

We all agreed that we'd have much rather been hearing it from actual Strikers supporters than from a bunch of Jersey Shore wannabe weirdos who for some reason thought that humping the air was cool

But you're right, we were not polite :D

And just keep the following in mind:

That's your first win in 2.5 seasons vs us. Enjoy it while it lasts ;)

No more problems. The Duffy's Party On The Pitch should be in the SW corner of Lockhart when you come here in September. That way you're properly isolated. See you then.

But the Duffys girls were one of the few highlights :( Much more fun than the Strikers girls.

Yeah about that... no. Open Cup 2010.

We have sucked terribly overall against you guys. However as noted above we knocked you out of the USOC in 2010 and finished higher in the table that year, and advanced further in the playoffs in 2011. It's not like we're Stockport County and you're Man U or something. We've been two more or less evenly matched teams every year, but for some reason our guys had not been up to snuff until Saturday in league play. There has really been no logic behind it. We were able to beat Carolina twice last season, PR, Minnesota... but couldn't beat you guys. It's been ridiculous. Hopefully this win turns the results more even going forward.

I certainly hasn't helped rekindle enthusiasm amongst our fans for the rivalry by having our asses kicked nearly every time we meet up over the last few years.

Well, a complete bullshit PK call beat us in that Open Cup game. But hey, the refs are always bad right?

Also, I didn't claim to be Man U. Just pointing out your only win in league play vs us since 2010.
