HEY EVERYBODY RELAX! everything is gonna be ok we just in a hangover from winning MLS , Losing CCL and Having lost OMAR, Belhalter, and Ricketts, but it will be ok. lets just relax for a minute and let this team get it together even if we suck and lose the first 10 games, La Galaxy is MLS's Premier team so we are gonna be under the Scope 24/7 on and off the Field ,If we win MLS fans will say we bought your wins, if we lose MLS fans will say haha all that money and u still cant win , so F them we are the kings of MLS we will always be better then them and we need to just stop worring about what MLS say about us , so just forget this about this panic button and have faith in this team , i say we wait till this summer transfer window and buy a top flight CB maybe until Omar gets back and send Boyens to the nearest Dumpster we can find cuz that dude is 100% trash if i was his father i would of worn a Paper bag at the HDC everytime he played:mad: so please my GALAXY brothers chill!:D

Just for a bit of perspective, last season after 3 games we were 1-1-1; 3 GF 5 GA. Sure two of those games were away and the competition was harder (Seattle, RSL and New England).

That would likely be a disaster. I'm pretty sure he would have difficulty managing under a salary cap after working at places like Chelsea, Inter, and Real Madrid.

I don't think we're going to get Jose as our next manager, but if we do, he'd better not be Ruud Gullit II.

No. Panic is for losers, and we are not losers. Bruce needs to wake up and make the necessary adjustments, and he will. Many of us have said it - defense first.

Absolutely NOT. The past 3 seasons this CLUB has been nothing short of spectacular and consistent with the W's... we as fans have been pretty spoiled... the W's, the Talent, the matches etc.

Now I figured before the season that the SS was lost already just because of the schedule and design...

But the MLS CUP is a grind, and we all know is one that only matters how you are playing at the moment...

So with that being said, all we need to do is work the kinks out, get healthy, STAY healthy and make the playoffs... there is no doubt that once in the playoffs, whether home or away, with one of the most talented rosters, this CLUB has a really good chance to Win it all again...

Okay, I'll bite. What did you find delusional about it? The proof is in the pudding. And I'd be shocked if we pulled out a W in KC this weekend.

Just because we are in the Bad stink chemistry form right now does not mean players are gonna be kicked out the squad , first Robbie is not gonna leave before his contract is up he will atleast give us his 2 year attention , Donovan is not going to the EPL anymore its too late for that now he will end his career as an MLS/La Galaxy player he just loves the LA/ MLS life, everything will stay as is but this summer. I can assure Bruce will bring in a top flight CB or ST player and once again MLS Fans around the league will hate us for it , but other then that we will stay how we are and shower off this bad Stink we have on right now.

    1. I hope you make me look more wrong than I ever have been.
    2. I think a lot will depend on mending fences between Bruce and Becks. Rumor has it he's not playing this coming Saturday, which only fuels the fire
    3. Seattle and Portland, whom we play more now, are in top form.
    4. How can we bring in a top ST or CB with salary caps? Maybe I don't understand enough of the math. Another marquee player? I'd think we'd have to lose one to gain one.

Again, I am happy to be wrong, but I think LA sports have this erroneous philosophy of "Oh we'll just turn it on in the playoffs." Like it or not, anything less than another cup will be deemed a failure - perhaps unfairly so. I think another loss this weekend (which I hope I am wrong about predicting) will really put us in a DEEP hole. Sure, anything is possible, but I think this game is a must win in Kansas.

The Cyclonis way of thinking, folks. Anyway, if we don't get a quality CB after the transfer window closes for June, then it's time to smash that panic button.

*Assuming Cyclonis hasn't smashed it by then...

True but the the question was "Do "WE" hit the panic button yet"? not has Cyclonis hit the panic button for us?

And that goes back to my comment earlier. Not until end of June, when these conditions happen:

    1. A losing record
    2. Failure to secure a competent center-back from transfer window
OPTIONAL: Elimination in U.S. Open Cup

End of June?? That's too late! I will give it till the end of May if we didn't hit a panic button yet after the SKC match. That is IF we play horribly again in Kansas.

We don't panic but we need to make some trades and movement. Boyens obviously doesn't do the job and i'm not hugely surprised. We can't just wait for Gonzo since he might not play at all this season. Any news on Leonardo? I mean he wasn't out of this world but I'd say he is a step up and we have him already.

Lastly I think Juninho has been WAY off form this season and a lot of our defensive brilliance last year was due to him and he needs to get it together asap, I think Bruce should bench him but we don't have another CDM. As for Becks, I agree there might be a bust up between him and Bruce, the fact it took so long for him to resign probably didn't sit well with Bruce.

Lastly, Keane and Buddle aren't working as good as we thought. As many goals are being scored against us we aren't exactly producing a ton either.

Re: the bold part - did you mean that Becks should've stopped playing by now - because he is old, slow, etc - and the fact that he doesn't RESIGN yet makes Bruce annoyed with him? Or did you mean that Bruce is annoyed with David because he took so long to RE-SIGN again with LAG?

I think the word you meant here is RE-SIGN. However, I don't think it makes sense at all for Bruce to still feel annoyed with him seeing that it's done and over with since nearly 4 MONTHS ago and Becks has been playing in almost every game this year ever since. With Bruce's blessing at that.

it was an error, i meant RE-SIGN!

And it could make sense, we have no idea what is happening in the background and we can't assume either way. Becks might not play Sporting because of "mulitple nagging injuries." That is usually used to say i don't wanna play him, redknapp loves that one. Hopefully i'm wrong tho but what other reason was there for becks to be pulled at half time and be super pissed off in the tunnel?

I think theres some history too

The first loan to AC Milan totally blind-sided Arena, he was hearing it from the press before Beckham (or Beckham's people) had the courtesy to tell the coach (and GM).

The only thing that is panicking me is wondering about what is going on with Becks and Bruce. Otherwise I think we will be fine this season - maybe not SS winners but a top 4 team in the reg season and a contender for the cup. We have the talent, these things go in cycles, we are creating scoring chances and our total team defense will be sorted out. And we have 1 pt less than we had last year after 3 games, which started out pretty bad as well.

But the thing with Bruce and Becks baffles me. First WHY would he make newbie Keane the Captain over Becks??? Becks busted his ass for us last year and it's a slap in the face to skip over him to Keane. Then Bruce yanks him at halftime in an important game for what he describes as "tactical reasons" in a game where Becks wasn't even close to be the problem on the field. Am I supposed to believe it is just a coincidence that Becks is bypassed for captain and then removed at half?? Then he has a mysterious injury that Bruce can't even describe and he isn't even with the team this weekend?

    WTF is going on?

We need Becks - his play in the middle last year was a big part of what made us great. The fact that it looks like possibly major friction between Bruce and Becks does make me panic a bit.

I'm with you, something is not right. If Becks has an injury they are trying to hide (which is par for the course around Galaxy land) then that explains most of it. But it doesn't explain the captain thing, which is just plain weird. Beckham has been either captain or vice-captain of the team for 5 years, and Keane just arrived. All I can think is that Beckham did something that really pissed off Bruce.
