Odd sort of overlap with the CCL semifinals midweek, then a Thursday game as well. Houston is off; RSL plays twice. Set your fantasy teams accordingly. :)

All times EDT; all games shown on Direct Kick and MLS Live unless otherwise noted.

    Wednesday 4 April

    Montreal at Salt Lake, 9:00

    Thursday 5 April

    New England at Dallas, 8:30

    Saturday 7 April

Toronto at Montreal, 12:00 (and we thought last week's start time was early!)
New York at Columbus, 3:00, Galavision
Los Angeles at Kansas City, 4:00, ESPN
    Vancouver at San Jose, 7:00
    Seattle at DC United, 7:30
    Colorado at Salt Lake, 9:00
    Portland at Chivas USA, 10:30

As always, keep it friendly here in the neutral PBP thread.

The/Da/DURR MLS suspends Brandon McDonald one game for a reckless challenge against FC Dallas.

Mr. I only have a left foot IT'S ALL I GOT Burch talks some smack.

    OH the storylines!!!!

is that the most hours that MLS matches have taken place over in one day? One could watch MLS for 10.5 hours (not quite continulously, alas).

Pretty important game, right? Too bad anyone with Comcast in Denver won't be able to see it live. Due to the fact that the Avs and Nuggets are both playing at the same time as this Rocky Mountain Cup match neither Altitude or Altitude2 are available to the Rapids. The Rapids FO managed to get an extra channel on Dish and DIRECTV to show the game live, but Comcast doesn't have the bandwith so they'll be showing it delayed at 10pm once the Avs/Nuggets games are done.

Oh, and the Rapids FO couldn't get the MLS Live/Direct Kick blackout lifted in Denver either.

If it were something like Rapids-Crew, no big deal, but a rivalry match? Sucks.

Looks like Montreal plays twice also, right?

One of the only good things about not living in an MLS town: no blackouts.
That said, if you need a good stream site, PM me, I've got a couple bookmarked and should be able to hook you up.

Wednesday night in Salt Lake to noon Saturday in Montreal? That's quite a short turnaround.

Sold out LSP for LA's first road game. Hopefully no drama but likely plenty of fireworks, and guaranteed physical play. Let's hope the ref doesn't make the difference in this one. Should be a good time.....:)

Who does an RSL fan root for in this one?!?

Perhaps, the fair thing to do is just root for an entertaining game... which I'm sure KC will provide!

Montreal gets their first ever MLS win....only not tonight. Tonight they (probably) get slammed. On Saturday v. Toronto, in one of the Canadian derbies.

Winter is pretty confident they will kick some Mexican asses for a major upset. I think he's a fool, but you never know.

Well, since your team is visiting LSP next, you should probably hope for something very violent with tons of red cards and injuries, but an SKC win to keep your team on top of the West. ;):D Speaking of which, I hope we have a decent ref in this one so there is no drama (at least during the run of play).

Why is everyone expecting so much violence and/or drama in the SKC/LAG game? What am I not remembering about this "rivalry"?

And if we think this is early, just check out next week's start time for Toronto!

Some very fun looking matches in there. Colorado/RSL as always, but also an all-Canada matchup, and SKC against the Galaxy looks tasty. And best of all, my guys at Philadelphia FreePoints FC won't be able to let me down this week. sigh...

Who is everyone? Anyway, there has been plenty of drama coming out of LA recently, but I think most of us are just hoping for a cleanly officiated game since it is on the big stage this week. That is what I was referring to, anyway....maybe you should reread the post I quoted to get my comments back into context. I was quoting an RSL fan, and RSL comes calling at LSP next week.

    I don't get it.

That looks like several hours later.

    Has that game time changed?

To be fair, this is the desired result! however, in the spirit of the neutral tread, I wished for an entertaining affair!

Not really much of a rivalry. But there are lots of individual plotlines that could potentially spell trouble of some sort:
    - SKC in first place and wanting to keep it that way
    - LA has done poorly and will want to use this game to prove a point
    - SKC will likely show little-to-no respect that Beckham, Keane, and Donovan may think they deserve
    - SKC has plenty of strong, physical guys with a reputation for toughness (Collin, Espinoza, Cesar, Kamara to some extent) that won't back down from a challenge or a loose ball
    - SKC at home in front of a rabid, sold-out crowd on national TV

Bottom line, I really don't expect to see a lot of the beautiful game. It's going to be a battle from start to finish.

We're actually quite used to morning sports here on the West Coast. NFL starts at 10a and there's no time to kill...

I was looking at the MLS Live schedule which has it listed at 9:00 am. Whoopsie daisy.
