Another interesting article just before the one above, has Lambert talking about his partnership with Lee in glowing terms. One downer though - it sounds like Lee has an interpreter with him all the time, even on the training pitch :(

Lol he's been there like 2 months. I think we can let that slide at this point.

Interpreters don't mean that the players are not trying to settle in. Look at Kagawa who still has the interpreter guy sitting on the bench on matchday (in his second year at the club), and who is still - out of the players in that area - going out the most with German teammates, according to Makino.

Yes, I know :) But on the training pitch? I was just wondering how that worked... Not aiming to be negative, especially as Lambert seemed to think it was working fine.
Just that in terms of long-term success I'd think that talking to team-mates on the pitch is at least as important as getting on the score sheet.

That doesn't mean he's not speaking to his partners, I think it's more of an insurance and help to understand coaching indications.

Southampton won 2-0 today, at the top of the table. Lee wasn't in the match day squad, he's probably still recovering from that knock.

No sign of Lee again, and Sharp made two goals
    damn.

Well, at least Southampton is really close to the Premier now.

Also I'll be a happy man if West Ham doesn't get promoted. No Maeda, no party.

No trace of Lee and their best striker (Lambert) is going to be out for quite some time.
Not surprisingly, they are also losing to Blackpool [IMG]
well at least even if Reading surpass them later it won't matter as long as they stay higher than West Ham

Getting very tight at the Championship, Southampton lost to leaders Reading. If they win all their remaing games they should get automatic promotion.

This would have been a great opportunity for Lee.

aaand West Ham gets a draw, and Southampton flies happily. Now even two draws would mean automatic promotion ;). Have fun in the EPL, Lee!

p.s. get raped West Ham! I bet Maeda is laughing somewhere

Well, the real problem for them if they can keep Lambert, which I doubt. We'll see in the summer.

I reckon the manager will do everything possible to keep him, the partnership of him and Sharp (Think that's the guy who was bought at same time as Lee) was pretty crucial to their second half of the campaign.

If he leaves, then that's a bonus for Lee.
