Its pretty much a do-or-die clash. Only think about winning. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAr0wuyhYa4"]???? ??? ?? ?? - YouTube[/ame]
automatic no. but i dont think they will go into the match with much pressure cause they can take care of business. the only reason oman are in contention is cause of a technicality not by their performance on the pitch. and adding a player like NTH will only help as he can surely play well among his peers. the game will come down to not conceding first and maybe a few moments of brilliance.
A tie against Oman and a win against Qatar at home will be fine. The results are actually what I am predicting at the moment. This edition of Oman's team is really good whereas Qatar is near trash. Getting [at least] a tie against Oman will be really crucial though.
What exactly do you know about Oman to be so confident? We're going into the last two matches of the qualifying round and this team has still hasn't won an away match. Considering how poorly they've played, even a draw here would be a good result.
Only top seed is guaranteed, the 2nd has to go to playoff I think acc. to my recollection of wiki. EDIT: looked it up on Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football_at_the_2012_Summer_Olympics_–_Men's_Asian_Qualifiers
For what its worth, here is the predicted lineup. But knowing Mr Hong, I wont believe anything until I see the starting xi right before the match. Kim Hyun Sung-------- -----Kim Min Woo Kim Bo Kyung------------------------Nam Tae Hee Park Jong Woo---Han Kook Young Yoon Suk Young---Kim Young Kwon---Hong Jeong Ho---Oh Jae Suk Goalkeeper http://news.naver.com/sports/index....01&article_id=0005522030&date=20120221&page=4
some of it is not playing to potential. but the team has been efficient getting wins at home and draws away. its a pretty solid team that defends reasonably well and is full of defensive mids and attacking mids.

I think as long as Seo Jung Jin doesnt start, we should be fairly ok. His situation reminds me of Yoon Bitgaram's before the Qatar match. The key point of this match will be how Nam Tae Hee contributes to the team. He should be alright with the Middle Eastern environment and should have no big issues with the communication of the team.
