    Perhaps they thought: "That expensive gold-red jersey didn't make us Deutscher Meister. So perhaps going with half-assed look will do the trick next time over."

    Thought bright-red Osram glowing on the sidelines was quite enough in terms of fluorescence at Bayern.

    If you don't mind, corrections on the Eintracht Braunschweig newspiece:

    Bundesliga relegation was in 1985

    Eintracht was never in the fourth division (worst ever placing in club history was 13th place in the third division)

    Eintracht wasn't the first German club with a shirt sponsor - they were the first professional club, and the club that forced the DFB to legalize it (first ever club with a shirt sponsor was actually Wormatia Worms, but the DFB banned it then and they didn't protest, unlike Eintracht a few years later).
