I've been consistent in my utter dislike of JIK....this guy is a clown and spits in the face of every team that hires him. Despite his dodgy record, they still sign him! What a disappointment to be honest. He'll be off that team in less than 6 months. Ischia doesn't put up with shit.

I don't follow them to much depth, so my answer carries little in terms of substance. But in DQ, I think in local matches they also played decent...maybe coaching tactics? Anyone else care to discuss

that guy is right, they lacked playing time. But Deportivo Quito signed too many players in the attacking positions last year. They're doing the same thing again this year, except the majority of players they are signing are midfielders. Rodas was an interesting player, but I think Insua or whoever was coach at the time said his futbol fits better in another league that is based more on technical skill and that Rodas wasn't physically in shape to compete in the ecua league. About Perea, I just don't know how that guy didn't get minutes. I look at Bevacqua and I honestly think he sucks. Perea seemed like he had potential but wasn't given any opportunities. And from what I remember even Zlatan Fernandez was part of the group of strikers who ended up leaving b/c the striker positon was THAT packed.

Liga and Barcelona have the strongest squads. If you analyze each player individually in each section of the field. D.Quito has a mediocre defense. Pedro Velasco is the only stand out player and Isaac Mina is mehh. Emelec has mediocre defense and the only good player they got there is Achilier. D.Quito lost Campos and Emelec lost Morante and didn't replace them with a quality center back. That's gonna be their weakness year long.

People here are eager to criticize an ecuadorian goalkeeper. So where are all the hate comments? I'll start. ELIZAGA, you f&^%king suck. Go ahead and retire moron. No wonder Emelec let you go. what a P.O.S. of a goalkeeper. To completely misjudge a ball at this point of your career is absolutley PATHETIC. Ischia must have been friggin PISSED!!!

dude these losers got lucky as f*ck when they scored. Then they defended all game, until Elizaga made his sloppy mistake at the end. Chivas on a good day/moment would run over this team easily. D.Quito is some doo doo. Not going to the next round. watch.

Beating 2 or 3 players in the box is not luck..lol.. Luck is when Chucho Bolanos scored that header in the Azteca against America that ultimately landed Liga in the Final. Ischia had that game won if it wasn't for Dumbass. I hope Rueda puts elicaca against Argentina.

how is chucho bolanos goal luck? that was all Guerron's play. That sh*t might have been a "chicharito goal", but it wasn't luck. America was played out. D.Quito yesterday did sh*t, not impressive. Wanna bet they don't make it to the next round?

that's funny cuz not one of them have started off playing the qualifier. don't get your hopes up. Last time we played in buenos aires not one of the players you mentioned played a single minute on your turf.
