Hmm. Could be. Since the conversation had started with a remark about posters using animated smileys, I assumed the font talk was about posters too.
Just a guess, but you did something in one particular forum? I'm also guessing that BigSoccer (business) doesn't want to ban people from the whole site unless absolutely necessary, as it drives down traffic. If you were banned, contact the moderator who banned you.
BUMPPPPPPPPPPP...... One thing that has never sat right with me is when I have to delete smileys when quoting posts. Whenever any new software may (or may not) be installed, perhaps smileys in quoted posts shouldn't count towards the image limit.
Don't get me wrong; I can understand having to delete a huge picture that I quote, but smilies should be something entirely different. They're tiny enough not to be intrusive. And I'd still like to see the animated ones that other websites have.
I don't care if the number is increased or not, but we need a wider selection. This one is absolutely necessary: This one would be nice also: ...and of course, who can live without this one:
I can't believe you left out this one: FYI, this isn't directed at anyone. It's just showing possible options.
Honestly, the "closed" and/or "locked" smilies are juvenile. We don't need to rub it in someone's face with a dancing icon that the thread is closed. If they don't understand "closed thread" from the lack of "quote", "reply", and "quick reply" icons, they don't get it.
Oh, I agree. I thought we were joking in this thread. I would have used or but I had already used three images and this damn site wouldn't let me use another.
http://www.xtratime.org/forum/images/smilies/aw9cuo.gif Oh wait. I can't put it in, because you have three smilies. *wink*
Oh, I know they have it. Other sites that use the same software have that box. I would think it's just a matter of switching "off" to "on" in some setting.
