Simply clarifying that the Fire's gk'er coach emphasizes its training. However, like others have posted these may be called training, but make a good impression and you may be brought back.

if you were referring to this point:

i was merely saying i would like more of the Fire players go abroad during the offseason and train. Fire have many partner clubs, perhaps we'll see some players sent down to South America or Mexico. But i know many players in MLS in the past have "trained" in europe during the offseason, simply saying i hope more Fire go this season and return sharper.

Train/ Trial... we have this discussion every time (personally I feel like Real Corona). We should just go back to calling it Trailing.

It's been a long time for this topic, but there was interest in Sean at AZ:

Update on Sean Johnson to #TFCLive The visit definitely left a positive impression on the 33-year-old goalkeeper. But no final decision has been made yet.

Johnson also still has an offer from #NYCFC and a European club to consider.

Source also adds that AZ Alkmaar were interested in Sean Johnson. They, however, have signed Australian goalkeeper Mat Ryan today.

Looks like he goes overseas to Canada:

Inbox! #USMNT goalkeeper Sean Johnson has joined #TFCLive. Johnson has signed a TAM deal until 2024. Toronto FC had to fight off a late offer from Anderlecht to get this deal across the line.
