football in Saudi Arabia is great ,

its professional football that we cant get it right .

although i am disappointed about nawaf neglecting the FA election , but i think he is doing great , just give him time .

the current league started without problems unlike previous leagues which is a good sign .

So you will be proud to call a fan of a country whose ranking is 98th in the world.
The only problem lacking here is the lack of friendlies.

A boring stamelate with lots of chances missed by Saudi team in the first half.Second half was slowed down more than the first half and few chances coming up for the NT.Short passing game again but the players did not make of it.Still Frank Rijkaard has to find a win under his name.Yasser did not seem to play for anything.
Lastly, after watching the performance I am not hoping anything better for the NT in future.Thailand game will not be a easy one neither home nor away not because they are playing good but because the players are sucking to the core.
Here is the starting line up-
    Waleed Abdullah
    Abdullah Zori
    Hassan Muaz
    Osamah Hawsawi
    Osamah Muwallad
    Saud Kariri
    Ahmed Fraidy
    Abdul Aziz Dosary
    Shalhoub
    Noor
    Qahtani
    Substituition made-
    Yahya Sheri on for Dosary
    Nasser on for Qahtani
    Naif Hazazi on for Noor
    Tayseer Jasem on for Fraidi
    Ahmed Autef on for Shalhoub
    Abdullah Suhail on for Zori

Zori and Qahtani have no business being in the NT. When was the last goal Yasser scored in a Saudi shirt? I think it was 3 years ago!

Big players perform in a big match ... If Yasser cannot score then he must play in the Mid-Field and provide Assists to other forwards for scoring goals ...

Nami is better than Zori ... Zori is not handling the pressure in the Top Level (National Team) at the moment and he must drag himself out of this to perform like he does in Al Hilal.

All and all I have a feeling that as the league is growing stronger players are loosing interest in NT duty as happening in Europe and cause of worry to football.
One player I would like in place of Zori is Ibrahim Hazazi of Ahly.He is fast and energetic and cause serious trouble in the opposition back line.I just hope Rijkaard consider him for future matches.

KSA qualified for the Semis after defeating Kuwait 2-0 and drawing UAE 1-1.Both games KSA played well.I just would like to see Bader Khamees and Hattan Bahabri to be tried in the NT atleast for friendlies.Bader Khamees looks ever promising to me and hope that he comes under Rijkaard eyes for NT selection.Hope he can be a good starter for the NT.

    Some Insight news-
The coming transfer window in January could good for some of the Saudi players.Osamah Hawsawi is close to move to French Ligue,Yousef Salem and Yahya Sehri will go on trial with Turkish club Besistaks and Noor could move to Qatari club Umm Salal or Ahli Qatar if issued between him and the club is not solved.

I doubt any of those transfer rumours are true. We hear them all the time.

The most trust worthy is Osamah Hawsawi transfer rumours.Even Hilals president spoke about it many times in news interview.

Abdel Khaliq Bernawi used to play for Al Wehda before he ran off to (I think) Al Ahli via some 3rd division portugese club.

He's a DMF and he's quite good but not amazing.
