Tried asking this on the fans forum but it seems to be dead compared to this. I was watching the Costa Rica game again this past weekend and towards the end theres a shot of a guy wearing a US Soccer New Era hat in red, white crest on front, white new era logo on side and something white in the back. Anyone know where this US Soccer New Era hat is sold?
Just went and took a picture, saved it on my DVR in case this came up. Agree completely though, I have to have it. The US soccer website only has Nike stuff. To this anonymous US fan... Where do I get your hat?!? Is it old? Am I too late? Did you make it yourself bro?! Say it ain't so
he most than likely bought a blank and the store did it themsefs or at an embroidery shop...if he didnt do that then i also need to know where to buy one.
I bet anything that's an MLB logo on the back, and he embroidered the patch over the front of the cap. I searched everywhere and found nothing like it.
That's exactly what that looks like. Looks like a red Dodgers cap with a US Soccer patch (which I believe you can still get) ironed on/sewed over it.
Nike wouldn't have any of that. Kid was probably detained by Phil Knight's goon squad to discuss 'licensing rights' following the match.
If he bought the patch from Nike or U.S. Soccer, they wouldn't have any beef. It's an iron-on patch...nowhere does it say he can't iron it onto a ball cap.
Hmm, wonder if Nike's goon squad could coordinate a raid with Apple's "investigators?" The missing iPhone5 is still missing, and who knows, maybe this kid has that too!

I think the logo is oversized on the red hat. If we had a better logo, that wouldn't be as much of a problem in my book. I like my Nike USA hat. It looks a wee bit tacky with the "USA" overwhelming the logo, but its the best US hat that I've been able to find. Ah crap, I can't post a photo of it. Anyone know how to do that? Thanks for helping me overcome my computer illiteracy.
I don't think I'd put the "Don't Tread on Me" on the back. Maybe "Don't Tread on Me, Pretty Please" in light of recent results.
I know that guy from the AO. He showed me the hat on Friday. He got the whole team to sign it on thursday after practice. He said Edu wanted a cap for himself as well.
Ah nice, I thought someone on here might know him. Do you know if he had it made or did it himself? Anymore details? Whats on the back?
