I'm sure I'm breaking every big soccer rule by asking, but any recommendations on a good place to watch USA-CRC on Friday night. Need a place that will be showing the game and it's possible to get a seat. I'm coming down from Vancouver (the one with the Whitecaps) to watch the Loyola Chicago v U Washington game and I'd love to find a place in town, preferably bikeable, where I can catch the action. Good beer would be a plus. Thanks in advance to any Portlanders who can help a traveler out.
Yep. And given your unfortunate Sounder and Whitecap affiliations, maybe best to go to the Thirsty Lion where you probably won't run into old school TA. Also pretty much guaranteed they'll have the game on. It's just off transit too.
