Lots of interesting movies coming out in the coming months. What is everyone looking forward too? Just a few that I am interested in just by first look - Contagion Rum Diaries - really looking forward to Depp returning to his role as HST Moneyball Red State Ides of March Breaking Dawn - dont laugh. I listened to the audiobook awhile back and Stephanie Meyer went off the deep end with this book. I am really eager to see how they adapted this on screen. The Muppets - please dont screw this up Girl With the Dragon Tattoo - they have a lot to live up to after the Swedish versions Adventures of Tintin
I'm in for Contagion, Drive, Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, Moneyball, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Martha Marcy May Marlene, Dragon Tattoo, Tintin, and War Horse. And others, potentially, but those are the ones I'm watching out for.
I'm not a Twilight fan, but I'm not a hater, either. But yes, I've heard how weird Breaking Dawn gets and I'm curious to see how it plays out on screen. As for Dragon Tattoo, I want to see it, but I've seen the girl who plays Salander and ... I definitely liked the other one much, much better. Looking at the U.S. preview, it looks exactly like a carbon copy of the Swedish version. At times I thought I *was* watching scenes from the Swedish version. So, we'll see how it turns out. I'm also looking forward to 'Warhorse' and Underworld 4, which doesn't release until January 20. Not sure about the rest. I'm sure I'll read/learn more about them later this fall. I'm pretty much in the dark about new movies until I see the trailer on TV, or someone posts it on FB. Hell, I didn't even know about Warhorse until people on my riding board wouldn't shut up about it.
We Need to Talk About Kevin is another movie that looks worth checking out. It is about time someone made a story from the perspective of a school shooter's parents.
