I know there are Villa fans on bs. I have seen us fans posting all over the site. Let's get these boards up and running again. I use Villatalk daily, but I'd like to get some discussions on bs as well!

    UP THE VILLA!

Cool story bro. If Villa sucks, then how bad is aresenal? We at least can beat blackburn. Plus we are still undefeated with more points. Arsenal not so much.

is our best hope for a major over haul actually being relegated????

I think we are going down... hard to have any hope when Mc Fail starts HESKEY as the lone striker

Yeah that's me. I try to post on there as much as I can but my posts tend to get lost in the crowd.

This season has been worse than last. McLeish is clueless and so is Lerner. Maybe relegation might actually turn this club around. We need change though especially at the manager's position.

Hey guys, Another Villa fan here! I don't get on BS too much myself. Figured I'd check in since they announced a trip to the states for preseason. So excited I get to see them this summer!!

Have to agree as far as McLeish and Learner being awful. I wouldn't want to see them drop but if that's what it would take...maybe it's for the best?!?!

Always nice reading how well the reserves side is playing (silver lining I guess) happy to see EL get time on the back line and AW up front.

Best wishes to Stiliyan Petrov and hope he recovers entirely. Leukemia is a bitch

Best of luck to Petrov. My godmother has been battling leukemia since she was in her teens. She'd win, then it'd come back, then she'd win again. She's in her 50s now. It's a real bitch, but it can be beat.

Luckily Petrov only has acute leukemia and have about a 50/50 chance to survive it. I hope he will get through it.

On the otherhand I give the villans a 30% shot to stay in the prem... Schedule is to daunting, we're to negative, we play heskey up top, and the teams below us are trending up...

    3 relegated: Villa, Wigan, Wolves

I don't see us getting relegated this season. We can beat Bolton, west brom, norwich, and maybe stoke. I expect us to win at least two of those games despite the terrible form we have.

We need 7 points to get to 40 and what many consider to be safe... it may be less this season but it may not be enough...

Find me 7 points from the remaining fixtures ( I count 6, and I feel i was extremely fair)

    Liverpool (A) 0
    Stoke (H) 1
    United (A) 0
    Sunderland (H) 1
    Bolton (H) 3
    West Brom (A) 1
    Spurs (H) 0
    Norwich (A) 0

Well the teams below us are getting points and we keep losing/drawing. We need a win somewhere.

Our GD might be what saves us... if we Beat Bolton we stay up... but i almost dont even want to watch the slaughter United will lay on us after losing to Wigan

Man U isn't that good this year. I really think we can beat them with a decent manager but McLeish is not that. I am hoping for a draw but McLeish will probably play such negative football and hope for the 0-0 draw.

I am a little worried we might go down. This happened to Birmingham last year. They seemed in the clear but McLeish couldn't win a game to save his life. We are not scoring (never were though) and we are not getting any wins. What is like 2 wins in 2012 if that? The teams below us are slowly accumulating points while we are occasionally get draws. Not looking good.

We are going down for sure... on the bright side. We could actually win silverware in the championship. We have tons of youth and talented players that dominate the reserve league.

We can finally get rid of heskey and some other donkeys

We can get rid of the sum McCleish

    Maybe Lerner will leave to...

One sad thing... probably have to sell off Agbonlahor and N Zogbia for half of what they are worth
