Daisuke Takagi will practice with the Verdy first team when he gets back.

I'm being pretty optimistic, but if he plays in the next 4 months or something he will beat Morimoto's record of the youngest ever player.

Ueda runs his ass off every match. His positioning and anticipation are extremely high too. Did you see how many times he got to the ball whenever it came to Japan's half? It was ********ing amazing.

How do you know that Nikki can not run anyways. Have you ever seen him play?

 

I didn't get to see most of the match, but the last 20 minutes showed an Amazing and determined Japan. The first goal set up by sub Takagi scored by sub Nakaijima riled up the crowd and the amazing 2nd set off a chain reaction of Japanese attacking chances and Brazil desperate defending until the last minute. The crowd is riled up by the Determined Japan team, and the Samurai themselves feed off that energy. Though Japan lost to Brazil 2-3, They definitely shown a superb "Never-Say-Die" attitude and Determination. In the last minutes, even though Brazil was up a goal, they were sucked into Japan's pace all the way.
With more years and experiences, These Young Samurais will definitely light up Japanese Football and the World.

 

Let me rephrase it. The ability to match the striker's speed. More often it's hard to do, but at least to follow him effectively. The ability to turn around quickly, when you're tall it's harder to do. This team better not play the offside because they're gonna get countered.
Anyway, if memory serves me right Havenaar participated in the Montaigu Tournament and I saw some highlights of it on French TV. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Dude, I agree completely. The last twenty minutes or had me literally on the edge of my seat. I was actually really nervous down to the last few seconds, I felt the Blue Samurai Jr.'s could have seriously gotten all three points in the end. In fact, when the Brazilian player went off on a stretcher towards the end, I thought it was a ploy to steal time from Japan as their offense was CRAZY!

I almost cried at the end, seeing all those young guys hearts broken after all their hard work, especially the keeper. I wish to play for Japan and assist the team so that the Blue Samurai of any gender and age will never have to taste defeat.

I still can't believe how many times Japan created attacking chances in the last few minutes. They were on fire, too bad they lack the finishing touches, the Daisuke Takagi slider really got me riled up, he almost made it, the GK wouldn't be able to stop it, just a small tap-in. But overall Japan won the respect and support of all the fans, and you know Brazil was extremely glad to make it out alive, the players and coach seemed relieved of the final whistle, that's how great Japan was at the end. I started tearing myself when I see them cried, what makes it wonderful was the Japan chant and cheers throughout the stadium.
This is probably one of the greatest highlights of the Tournament, Blue Samurais chasing the Selecao up until the last second, never stopping.

With the already interest many have of Japanese Football, the success of Japan National Team on the world stage, both man and women, Senior, U-23, U-20, U-17, etc. Then there are the Young Japanese prospects that created buzz around the world, like Shinji Kagawa, Honda Keisuke, Yuto Nagatomo, Atsuto Uchida, Ryo Miyaichi, Bayern-bound Takashi Usami, and Japan's women Iwabuchi Mana.
Adding this to Japan lists of success, They're becoming a force to reckon with, and gain the love and respect from around the world. And they'll continue to grow.

though they may not be Japanese by blood, but as long as they give their all for Japan, it wouldn't be much of an issue.

 

Dude, I am working day and night to be one of those foreigners that lack Yamato-no-chi. I will rise through the leagues and make myself noticed, and play for Japan with more pride than even the Japanese themselves.

Japan opened itself up to me last year more than my own United States. I found a place where I can be happy with a culture that I love and people that support me. My own girlfriend is a Nagano native. The disaster earlier this year even furthered the resolve I have to help make Japan world champions.

No surprise that pretty much every single J-League club wants his signature.

Definitely one of the best young Japanese centerbacks that I have ever seen.

I don't think its any exaggeration to say that we could be seeing him play for the full NT in the upcoming years.

Well Musashi will probably find a club soon since he is a　三年生.
I wonder what teams are actually looking at him. (Real Madrid does not count because there is no way in hell they are actually interested in him)

I think he could do well for a J2 team. J1 is probably above his level atm.

 

I'd aim for better than Tulio who's often too hot headed and loses his focus. Just a classical defender but extremely good at what he does.

I'd like to believe they all have a future cause I liked absolutely everyone (well maybe not the two Suzuki (Ryuga should have been used as a side back)) but looking at the past teams, I know it won't happen.
