Those chapter scarves are so badass. If only Tucson got cold enough where you need to wear a scarf.

 

I got my "Official us soccer supporters group" package yesterday for 2011.

so, this is my 3rd year and therefore 3rd scarf. it seems they use a different company every year, so Its interesting to compare the quality.

This year they used brittish company Roughneck

I like the design, its prettier than last years, but I think part of that was because last years was all world cup RSA colors and I really like my scarfs to be my teams colors

Its not as soft as last years, but it seems more durable. Ill have to wear it a bit more (than falling asleep on the couch last night after watching 2010 in review DVD) before I make my final judgement on it.

regardless, of the 3 scarfs from USSSC its the best so far visually

 

I already have 20 bucks set aside for this badboy

 

Having seen the end product I'm rather amazed how well they turned out: The details really came through.

Shot in the dark here, but anyone know where to purchase a USA v England 2010 scarf? Looking for one as a gift.

I am also pleasantly surprised how well they turned out especially that I was not a believer when I first saw the design. Apart from the wrong choice of colors, which is pretty evident, the scarf and its details really stand out!

 

"Wrong choice of colors?" How so?

 

The red chosen on the scarf is much brighter than in the design. Unless that flash photo brightened the scarf and doesn't reflect the actual look. I am also not a big fan of royal blue instead of navy but maybe it is just me.

I still want to stress that it is a great scarf though.

I ordered one of these great scarfs a while back, paid using paypal, do we need to bring anything to pick it up at the tailgate or do you have the names. The pic of it looks amazing, can't wait to get my hands on it and wear it.

I think the flash brightened the red good bit (it does seem a bit overexposed), so it should be more true to that in the design in person. The bulk of the blue is in fact navy, save for part of the crests that's a lighter tone, as that was done deliberately to match the crest which is actually taken from a memorial to the U.S.S. Maine., the 13 stars representing the 13 original colonies.

So I might have missed it but will there be any Gold Cup specific scarves on sale? Just curious as to what to wear when the US (hopefully) plays in DC.
