None of those teams have good stadiums. Only poor Le Mans who finished 4th. Ligue 2 could be interesting next year with 3 big clubs (Monaco, Lens, Nantes)

Dijion is under going renovation to get a 22.000 stadium á la Grenoble (or at least was?), As stated in the other thread, they need to back to 18 teams. The league season is way too long, it loses too much momentum which such a long and spread out schedule and there aren't enough clubs to have a competitive 20 team league in France.

I mean look at Bundesliga a great compact 18 team league and they got teams avg. 50.000 attedence in the 2nd division so it's not like they couldn't expand.

Rennes is a good pick to win it next year. I also like Lyon because they will probably have a better manager. I dont like Marseille because there's never any stability there and DD will get fed up with the off field nonsense and leave. Lille, it will be difficult to repeat for sure. PSG-Qatar I am still not convinced so I will wait and see. So yeah we have to wait to see who comes and goes this summer but right now I like Lyon or Rennes.

Lille looks to have a good chance of keeping most of their team together. And with champions league football prestige and the money that goes with it, they can make some key acquistions this mercato. I have to see what moves the top clubs make before I can make any strong opinons but the same teams from this season will be fighting for it.

I'm also waiting for Lyon future signings as coach and players. It seems to be a turning point for Lyon.

if Lille are replacing Rami and Cabaye with Basa and Pedretti then that is indeed a step down.

Bayern bought Neuer and Manchester will get De Gea. Means Lloris and Mandanda will not move. Where will Ospina go ? I can't see only one club in France, Toulouse. It's that or another country. He deserves Spain !

I dont like whats going on in Lyon and Marseille right now with Lucho and Toulalan to Malaga so its up to PSG to save face and bring in some high profile talent. Its pretty depressing right now. We dont even have Monaco anymore to use their tax advanatages to bring in a big name. Its looking bleak at the moment.

Well if Jelen comes to Lille he will probably be replacing Frau and thats a good move there. Also PSG will probably bring in a big name and I dont care if he is 30 or older.

PSG has been linked with Alou Diarra, Kévin Gamerio, Nicolas Douchez, and Dimitri Payet. I think these would players would be very good buys for PSG. They would be the frontrunners for Ligue 1 next year. They been mismanged for a very long time, but they already have some very good players.

All those players were mentioned before the takeover was completed so the Qatari's might have other players in mind.

Sochaux's manager is now Bordeaux's manager. Bordeaux are a team that wont do what it takes to get to the next level but they do just enough to stay amongst the top of the heap and this move reflects that.
