Lugo is begging Iturbe to play for Paraguay what a ridiculous idiot he is, this is what I didn't want to get to, begging someone to play for us, that's why I wanted Iturbe to go play an official game for Argentina and get it over with.

Seriously who cares about this chump anymore.

The little traitor wants to play for Argentina then just let him, Paraguay is full of talent we'l find someone who didn't forget his "sangre guarani" and pretty soon this kid will be forgotten.

Hell I'm not even full blooded Paraguayan and I have more passion for La Albirroja then he does.

i'm so pissed off now, the president begging iturbe to play for us, thats so embarrasing, but what can u expect from anything that has to do with that national embarrasment called cerro porteno. Only cerro portenio can pay a kid as talented as him 120$ a month, only a cerrista like lugo can beg a kid to play for us, when he already said he wont. and only a cerrista like iturbe can pretend to be argentino when he can bearly speak spanish, that fake argentinian accent can't hide that guarani is his first language.

Wait till he starts hearing racist remarks from some pissed off Argies if he fails to perform.

He's our version of Mario Balotelli, he may wear the jersey but you know he doesn't fit in and plays for a country that's well known to discriminate against his type.

The only difference is that Balotelli was actually raised in Italy, Iturbe on the other hand doesn't know squat about Argentina.

U right sooner or later the "Paragua" chants will come from the stands then he'll remember where he is really from.

That kid is pretty good, I saw him last year play in the libertadores and for a 16 year old he was really good I also saw him in the reservas against Olimpia and he was amazing.

Now that I think about it, I miss going to the Stadium, I spent 6 months in PY last year and went to the stadium to watch that Pathetic Olimpia team we had at the time every week, now that we have an awesome team I have to watch it on Justin TV.

    Arqueros
    Justo Villar (Real Valladolid, España)
    Diego Barreto (Cerro Porteño)

    Defensores
Paulo da Silva (Real Zaragoza, España)
    Antolín Alcaraz (Wigan, Inglaterra)
    Aureliano Torres (San Lorenzo, Argentina)
    Marcos Cáceres (Racing, Argentina)
    Miguel Samudio (Libertad)
    Victor H. Marecos (Brescia, Italia)
    Darío Verón (UNAM, Mexico)

    Mediocampistas
    Cristian Riveros (Sunderland, Inglaterra)
    Edgar Barreto (Atalanta, Italia)
    Enrique Vera (LDU Quito, Ecuador)
    Osmar Molinas (Olimpia)
Marcelo Estigarribia (Newell's Old Boys, Argentina)
    Nestor Ortigoza (San Lorenzo, Argentina)
    Marcos Riveros (Nacional)
    Herán Perez (Villarreal, España)

    Delanteros
    Osvaldo Martínez (Monterrey, Mexico)
    Edgar Benitez (Pachuca, Mexico)
    Lucas Barrios (Borussia Dortmund, Alemania)
    Oscar Cardozo (Benfica, Portugal)

I'm fine with it except for some things,

Marcos Caceres and not Roman? I don't know what Martino has it with him, he's garbage and has shown it every time he's played with the NT. Roman is an up and coming defender and is doing great with River and yet doesn't even get called.

Nestor Ortigoza? And who the heck is Victor Marecos? Never even heard of him.

The midfield selection is just pure crap, Martino is a great coach but horrible at selecting players and that's what screws us up.

Pumpido for La Albirroja? Just a thought perhaps ;)

    my lineup would be,

[LINEUP-4-4-2]Barrios, Benitez, Molinas, Riveros, Barreto, Vera, Torres, Alcaraz, Da Silva, Veron,Villar[/LINEUP-4-4-2]

But ofcourse we all know Tacuara is gonna start and be useless for the entire game, and the best part is Barrios will be the one to be subbed off instead.

I'm fine with the list except with Pajaro Benitez, I think Ceballos should be called instead of him, especially since he is not even playing, I would say the same thing about Riveros who is a bench warmer also , but he is very important to the team, as for Nestor Ortigoza I think he needs more playing time with the NT for what I been told he has been playing really good in San lorenzo so I'm willing to give him another shot especially now that Aquino and Santana are pretty much gone, I can deal with 2 Curepas in the team.

If anything why didn't Haedo get called up and Tacuara does.

Haedo may not be a big time goal scorer but atleast he tries, Tacuara can't do neither for the NT.

Benitez I dont mind, he plays well for the NT.

Haedo has been injured all season and his team is fighting to stay in the first division maybe Tata is giving them a break, useless Tacuara is a hard not to call him because he is scoring goals in Benfica , yes I konw how much he sucks but as a coach you have to take the goal scoring into consideration, Benitez I don't mind but I think Ceballos deserves a to be given a chance and I can't stand Molinas I think he sucks and doesn't even deserve to be a starter for Olimpia much less play for the NT.

Cardozo has shown he can ONLY score with Benfica, I don't entirely fault him for sucking with the NT, he's the type of player that needs a good midfield to provide him with the set ups and we don't have the proper guys to set up Cardozo, he can score 10,000 goals a year for Benfica but if he can't score for us then there is no point calling him.

Benitez is the opposite, he may not always be great for Pachuca and doesn't always start but he shows up for the NT.

A lot of teams are looking at Paraguay for young talent now, I think the effect of Tacuara and Roque here is undeniable, Benfica signed some other 17 kid yesterday too.

This Baez kid is supposed to be the Mascherano of Paraguay according to the experts he is the most promising young Paraguayan right now.

Olimpia is going to regret letting this guy go for free, I heard his father on the radio today, the kid wants to stay in Olimpia even though he has a very lucrative offer from Blackburn so he is willing to take a 200k $ plus a Kia sportage jajaj to stay, but Recanate is too busy fighting everyone that he ended up dropping the ball on this one.

17 year old Derliz Gonzalez, he is from Rubio Nu and is playing the u17 tournament now, he most likely will stay at Rubio Nu until he turns 18 next year, I have now idea what position he plays.

Oh yeah that kid, yeah I thought you meant they signed someone else too.

He's a forward, I been hearing some people say that he's even better then Iturbe.

Judging from practice this could be the probable starting lineup vs Mexico

[LINEUP-4-4-2]Barrios, Benitez/Cardozo, Barreto, Ortigoza, Riveros, Vera, Torres, Alcaraz, Da Silva, Veron,Villar[/LINEUP-4-4-2]

Pretty good lineup, wouldn't mind seeing that. Just not Tacuara even though you know he's playing.

They beat some local team from Oakland 3-0 with 2 goals Barrios and 1 from Hernan Perez.

Sounds pretty good, I just hope the show up to play, I'm so sick of lazy performances in friendly games.

    3 golazos against Venezuela.

That Florencianez kid can kick a mean free kick, this U17 team has some serious talent, atleast their making up for the embarrassing performance by the U20s.

I usually don't follow the younger kids , but there is a lot of hype for this bunch of kids , I hope we can get some good players out of there and hopefully within the next 5 years.

    Lineup confirmed.

[LINEUP-4-3-3]Benitez,Barrios, Martinez, Ortigoza, Riveros, Vera, Torres, Alcaraz, Da Silva, Veron,Villar[/LINEUP-4-3-3]

Pretty good lineup although I'm not a huge fan of the 4-3-3 lineup, I just hope they go out there and take this seriously.
