Villarreal travel to Madrid today for a real test. VCF played Thursday and Monday, so their starters are tired -- can Jozy get on the field?

This is true even if Jozy doesn't play.

Altidore on the bench per soccernet. No dream start today.

Mr. Fourth Choice to get in the 89th minute, 4 pages about his one touch and one foul suffered.

Should be no problem for Madrid, Villarreal's defense has been horrible. 2-0 by the 20th minute.

    or, 1 - 0 in the 7th!

Wonderful throughball from Rossi, and Cani finishes it with a great touch.

And now 1 - 1, as the RB has gone missing, and Benzema finds a wide open Ronaldo who knocks it into an empty net. Possibly blame the keeper as well, as he could have gotten to that cross

I guess the goal was a wake up call. Didn't take long at all.

Yes, and making the bench and actually getting some minutes on a team of this quality no small accomplishment. IMO, it's the best team any Yank has ever played for, with the possible exception of Howards/Spector's Man Utd teams - but those teams didn't win a Prem either, or do much damage in Champion's League.
