Refuerzos copa liberta 2011 Penarol y Junior de killa se pelean por los servicios de F.Carini el portero Uruguayo cuestion salarial los separa del jugador. corinthians busca armar un tridente de parranderos/disco tremendo!
Liga de Quito in 2007 and Onze Caldas in 2004 notwithstanding, it's going to be a team from either Brazil or Argentina. Brazil's candidates: Santos (2009 Copa do Brasil, has Ganso and Neymar) Internacional (current Libertadores winners: boasts tough and tested veterans and has great team chemistry) Fluminense (2010 Brazilian champions; has players w/ talent and experience) Cruzeiro (another team with a strong base) Corinthians (must advance from playoff stage, but they will have Ronaldo) Grêmio (2-time Libertadores winner, did well in the 2010 Brazilian premiership, and seeks a 3rd title especially given crosstown rival Internacional's recent successes, but must first advance from playoff stage) Argentina's contenders: Estudantes da Prata (2009 Libertadores winners, still has Veron) Independente (if they win in the playoff - won 2010 Copa Sul-Americana) Velez Sarsfield Argentines Juniores Godoy Cruz (don't know them well, but they made it)
In 2007 Boca won it. 2008 was Liga... Also Olimpia won it in 2002, so there have been winners from 4 different countries won it the past decade
Right, Olimpia.... but could a Paraguayan team win it in 2011? I wonder how Nacional & Penarol will do next year.
Well you can start shaking in your boots already Diego Aguirre is back in Peñarol and JR Carrasco is with the gallinas BOO!!! el campeon del siglo XX is back you already saw Independiente in the Sudamericana la historia manda!
Nacional did school Rio da Prata in recent time, but other than that, it didn't do much. Penarol did even less. Let's hope these two Uruguayan teams bring something interesting next year.
