By the way, I do have some overdue props to give to Grenada, Guadeloupe and Puerto Rico by extension: I would not have guessed this before the second round of qualifying for the Caribbean Cup began, but as it turns out, Group E was actually stronger than Group F.

The odds of Granada winning with Cuba are:
    4.40 for Grenada
    3.50 for draw
    1.70 for Cuba
so bookies believe in Cubans. I think Grenada has a pretty good chance of winning, so I'm kind a surprised by these odds.
Is there a playaer that won't play for any of the teams?

I would guess both teams would rest some players and play some of their reserve players just to give them a run out, especially Grenada as they played 120 minutes not even 48 hours ago.

Linares score a fluke goal, Andray Baptiste caught out at the near post early for the second staight game...where is Desmond Noel?

Poor first half from both sides, Cuba should be another goal or two up. Grenada have two massive issues. The first is their attacking tactics, which seem to comprise of lumping it long to Facey, hope he can win it and play in Bain. Part of this problem comes from the second problem which is a lack of a midfield. They are really missing Ricky Charles on the wing and I think Shalrie Joseph would really shore up the midfield as well. They should be looking to get the ball deep in the channels and crossing it for Bain or for Facey, who thrives off crosses in to the box. If they play like this they will get thrashed in the Gold Cup.

This match has been almost as boring as their previous encounter.

Wow, that's rough on Lambourde... :(

Guadeloupe and Jamaica tied 1-1 aet, and 9 of 9 penalties had gone in, but Lambourde took the last shot for Guadeloupe and skewed it low and outside the goalie's right post to give Jamaica the trophy.

Congrats to the Reggae Boyz for defending their title, and here's hoping that the semifinalists 1) all show up for the Gold Cup (Cuba) and 2) cause some other teams problems next summer.

Congrats to Jamaica for the title, and congrats to Guadeloupe and the other teams for making it this far. It was a good tournament to follow. All the best for Caribbean soccer.

Players will receive 40% of the money, I spoke with some players and that is what them tell me, When them will receive that money? That is another history, last time took to the Cuban Federation 11 months to pay the players :)

Damn, it's not gone away! Penalty kicks are really lottery! But congratulation to the both teams which gave us a nice game! An undecided final as we love to see! The reggae boyz were relieved to beat us! Now throughout the Caribbean, Gwadaboys became "the respect team"!;)

Good game from Guadeloupe, didn't expect them to come out and play with such intensity that they did, especially in the first 30 minutes.

But big up mi Reggae Boyz!!!!! That's number 5...3 more to ketch di trinis

Wait, that's your account? Thanks a lot, you have some really good stuff up on youtube.

Especially the Haiti-Suriname game from the last World Cup. Hearing the announcer lose his voice at the comeback never stops being hilarious. :D
