Lowly ranked teams will play home-and-away playoff in Round One and the winners will qualify for the second round. First leg of the first round will be played on February 23, 2011, while the return leg will be played on March 9. The Round One winners will join the highest ranked teams in Round Two and 12 teams will make it to the third round after playing home-and-away playoff on June 19, 2011, and June 23, 2011. According to a fax received by the Congolese football federation, both teams will play the qualifiers according to the following program; the men’s team will play against Chad during the weekend of the 08th,09, and 10th October against Chad in Kinshasa while the return leg will be played during the weekend of 17th,18th,19th December in Chad. Strange that Mozambique are playing in the qualifying round then, as they get direct entry to the All-Africa Games as hosts, and also there are only 8 places available at the finals. If the All-Africa Games are being used as qualifiers, then what are all these matches that have been arranged for?
