A lot of opportunity for him. They are rebuilding the reserve team after a lot of players transferred to the first team or left.

I think it would be crazy if one of these lower division finds we have in Germany got up to a top level. Just sayin'.

Wooten is back from injury for the game against Leverkusan's reserve team. He was out for last week's 1-3 loss to SC Wiedenbrück 2000.

Question, does K-town promote players from their reserves? Would Wooten be one of the first Forward candidates?

    1. Yes
    2. Possible, but not right now. Kaiserslautern seem to be rotating a number of players as the second striker, but all are licensed players.

Wooten got a lot of praise from the reserve coach a couple weeks ago. He has really made a good impression in the time he has been at Kaiserslautern. He mentioned being a consistent performer.

Wooten scored 2 goals in the first day of the Kaiserslautern City Championship, an indoor tournament held every January. The Kaiserslautern Reserve team are the defending champions. Kaiserslautern finished first in their group to qualify for the knock out round today.

Both of Wooten's goals were scored in a rout of VfL Kaiserslautern.

The article is password protected, but here is the text from the Rheinpfalz titled the Wooten Show:

Interesting to note that he did not start, some licensed players played instead. The coach said that the team was not playing well until he made his changes in the 63rd minute and then they caught fire.
