I Want To Go To Championship Game, Anybody in the area know any Cheap Motel's/hostel I can crash at?

    Hey everyone,

    I'm want to try and make the drive to the Championship Game but I need a place to stay if I'm going to make the 7 hour drive from Los Angeles.

    I don't know if any fellow Sol fans are going to make the trip but let me know if anybody else is thinking about making the game.

    Anybody know any cheap hostels or motels that are close to the stadium that are more familiar with the area than I am? Thank you for reading and hope to see you all at the game.

    sorry, I live 100 miles up north of the stadium... have no idea, but you can certainly come to our party (if we ever get to organize ourselves)

    I'm not sure about Hayward, but check around the Oakland Airport there should be lots of hotels in that area and it's only about a 20 minute drive to the field.

    I found some places around Berkeley is that any more easier to get to Hayward from there than Oakland or about the same drive?

    Berkeley is 10-20 minutes farther than Oakland. Teams stay at the Pleasanton Marriott, about 15 min away. That is pretty close if you rent a car. Lots of hotels in on the 880 corridor from Oakland to Hayward too. Pretty close. I would check on HotWire and see what they have around Hayward, Castro Valley, Pleasanton etc.. Sometimes I get pretty nice places for cheap.

    Avoid Downtown Oakland and Berkeley because of potential traffic that can turn the extra 10-15 minutes into 30-45. The airport is south of the city and avoids the worst traffic problems.

    Recommend the Hilton Garden Inn on the border of Hayward and San Leandro. Easy access to stadium and right off of I-880.
