Can anyone find video of Howards throw to Donovan? The ferking international feed missed that bit going in for a tight artistic shot :)rolleyes:) when the game was flowing end to end. Idiots.

Anyways don't recall if I saw a replay where they showed the whole throw but all the things I've seen on youtube show the international feed. I'll take a handycam shot if its out there :D

ESPN showed the Wide view from behind Algeria goal...where you see the pass and the whole field and play from start to end in one shot.

When ESPN showed their "axis cam" analyzing the goal (with Donovan always being traced) you can see Howard's throw.

What these guys said. By far the best view of the play. Maybe they are re-running that 1/2 hour show again?

quite frankly that toss was awesome, landon had loads of space and even had enough space for a poor couple of first touches to get it going.

for the US to really take advantage of their speed howard needs to do this more!!!.......i hate seeing him hold the ball...for 10 15 seconds and then boot up a 50-50 ball.............get the ball out quick.........catch teams with speed!!!!!!!! Donovan running with the ball at his feet is a totally diffenrent player than when against 8 men behind the ball backpassing........

same thing with throw ins...although i havent really noticed the slow as molasses throwins like at confed cup as much.......throw it in quick and go.......

What's with goofball DeMerrit doing a forward somersault with a half twist onto the celebration pile. LOL. After broadsiding innocent bystander Dempsey on the way in, he kicks someone in the face on the finish. Looks disoriented/confused ("Where am I?") when finally upright again. I give it a 9.5.

Jozy also looks like he's trying to do some sort of wrestling pile driver. Awesome emotion from the team.

If you notice, LD accelerates when he sees the ball hit the keeper.

Not only did Jozy go flying, Demerit comes in next somersaulting and kicks the guy in the navy tracksuit and purple bib right in the face! He didn't seem to mind....

That's Pierre, the fitness coach if I'm not mistaken. Glad Jozy didn't break Junior's back or someone's back for that matter. Most famous dog pile to date. :D

Absolutely. That really shows how pushed up Algeria was on that play (and how many of our guys didn't get back). It's 7 on 4 for a moment! Risky move from Donovan, but it worked!

Two things I noticed on the reverse angle of the play.

    1) Dempsey ran by the keeper just missing running into him. Can you imagine if the ref blew the play dead for a foul?

    2) Donovan had Buddle wide open on his left. He would have had an easy tap him, but he didn't look ready to receive the ball, kind of flat footed.
