Totally forgot to put in my predictions before last night's games. Miami 1-3 Austin PR 1-2 Carolina One more goal for Austin than I'd've called D) and I have to say I'm glad to have been wrong about what to expect in the Caribbean. So it's totally time to predict some things. Standing at 18/39 & 6, I'm calling: Tampa Bay 3-1 NSC MN Baltimore 1-2 Austin Rochester 1-2 Vancouver Tampa Bay 1-2 Puerto Rico NSC MN 0-1 St. Louis Montreal 2-1 Carolina
Results: Tampa 3-1 Minnesota Baltimore 0-2 Austin Rochester 2-1 Vancouver Tampa 2-1 Puerto Rico Minnesota 3-2 St. Louis Montreal 0-2 Carolina Me: 2/6 with 1 score, for a total of 20/45 & 7 = 13.5 points. Commentary: I'm never calling a home loss for the Rowdies again. Also, it feels wonderful to be wrong about that last match. Looks like whatever was missing for the RailHawks is finally coming together.
Eh, the road win against Puerto Rico means something. Considering PR's current standings I wish it didn't, but, well, we lost to the Stars right here in NC, so yeah. If Carolina weren't climbing back to where it belongs, I don't think either of those victories would've happened.
