Manso has really carried the team during long lapses this season, I'm liking our chances for a liguilla spot with the little man on this kind of form.

Darío Cvitanich did it again  This guy couldn't score in a whore house, even if you gave him a $100 bucks. When can Los Tuzos dump this guy???

Damn, and just like that were on the outside looking in for the liguilla, can't catch a break.

If I remember correctly he's only on loan so he shouldn't be in Pachuca much longer.

I guess Cvitanich is trying to prove me wrong, as he scored today. But damn  should have won this match

Yeah, the draw against Cruz Azul was a tough one, but there were also some positives. We almost pulled out the road win without Manso, Cacho, Cvitanich, Mendivil or Benitez in the starting lineup. Brambila and Manon played well for us up top under the circumstances, and Damian Alavrez played one of his best games of the season (his play leading to both goals). Its just tough because if the late penalty is converted Pachuca take the 3 points. My questions is who should have taken the penalty? Was Leo Lopez really the best option? I know Cvitanich had missed a penalty last week against Atlas, but I still think he Alvarez, or Benitez would have been a better option.

Yeah he thought so, because Los Tuzos had a chance to win in the end. The one positive I take from this match. Manso didn't play, then add the fact that Cruz Azul had Chaco & still CA couldn't win at home. Lopez missed that penalty at the end of the match. That was a Golden chance for a win. I don't care what Meza has to say. In my book he got lucky!!!

So if I'm not mistaken here's the liguilla qualifying scenario, basically win and hope that both Atlas and América don't do the same.

I was wrong, Atlas' draw was enough.

So that makes it Pachuca vs. Monterrey.

We win 1-0 but I am not convinced that this will be sufficient to get us through to the next round. Hopefully we show the same aggressiveness @ Monterrey.

I agree, another goal would have given me some peace of mind going into the second leg. Me thinks we're going to suffer but just barely squeak through in the end.

Pachuca advances to the semifinals. Great f'n game!!! Even I almost had a heart attack!!!

You guys are still alive to win the Double, which hasn't been done since 2007, when Pachuca (who else?) did it.

Pachuca verdaderamente es El Equipo de Mexico.

That was one of the best games I have seen from Pachuca in a while. If we had the best striker in the world, Monterrey would have rioted. With all those chances made, it was without a doubt that we would win. One thing I noted is that Riva subbed out Alvarez who is our best player on the field. I do not know what's up with that but whatever, we still won. Good job Pachuca! I think our future in the Liguilla is looking even brighter now.

P.S.- Torres man? Learn not to have butter feet :D
