Very important game since Aris needs to win and reset the difference between the other teams.
Psychology not at its best after loosing a final. So Cuper needs to remove any sadness and make the players fight for this important game.
Calvo is injured. 4 players suspended, Campora, Nafti, Arano and Kouloucheris.
Arano got 3 matches suspension for his red card against Olympiakos. This is of course a teribble decision and happens only in Greek football where everyone hails Olympiakos and Panathinaikos.
To the point, your fellow Americans gonna play. Johnson 90 minutes, Adu starter or sub. Adu was very positive at final instead of Calvo and Javito so there are many chances that he starts.
There is a new type of pitch. Its superb. You got to see it.
Streams will be easy for playoffs so you dont have to worry if you watch it.

I think Adu will play, he was very good vs Panathinaikos in the Cup Final. I think Meriem will not play, so Javito and Adu on the Right and Left

Has the team practiced on the new field? Just in case there's anything weird about the newly-laid grass.

Johnson starts in this game. Adu will probably start too, he was good in the Cup final when on the other hand Meriem was bad. Hope he grabs that chance in the play offs to claim a first team spot for the next season.

    Came across this interesting tweet

"out with Eddie Johnson and @FreddyAdu11 and a teenage girl had ARIS tattooed inside her lip and the crest down her side...true fans man"

    You people are nuts.

3 match ban for Arano??? WTF did he do again, I can't remember but I remember it being fairly benign. The bias is real, at least in this case.

What is the point standing for the playoffs and how were the points determined?

    Olympiakos 4
    Paok 3
    AEK 1
    Aris 0

Its the difference between the teams /5 generally.
Point system is the same 3-1-0.
If Aris and AEK win today, the standings are almost reseted.
Thats why we have to win.

This is Arano incident and its red card but the referee wrote it was a hit out of football action and thats a lie. Arano was with the ball. So we are without our left back for 3 matches.
Aris went to the court and today we wait the decision but noone believes it will become 1 match suspension.

    any words on first 11?

it's hard not to see Adu in the first 11 today. Calvo injured right? Meriem was poor last week right?

You're right. Definitely a red (if the elbow caught the other player in the face. It's hard to tell). But, 3 games??!!! It's bogus.

Not sure I agree with you. He had the ball and the defender really was not in his line or impeding him, and he simply decided to elbow the defender in what appeared to be the face. Assuming he made contact, I don't see why a 3 match ban is not warranted. The elbow had nothing to do with the play. It's not as if he went up for a 50/50 header and had his elbows up. He literally attempted to elbow the guy in the face even though the guy was to the side and almost behind him and the ball was ahead of him.
