Wow, if that was not a nose up the old trainer's (and Bekcenbauer's) asss I don't know what is. He should stick to his own betterment of form and leave complex thinking to those who have not proxided it out of their brain.
Navjot SIngh Sindhu once said that stats in sport are like what a lamp post is to the drunk. They offer only support and no illumination. Just saying
... well if one of these is some sort of curry dish, then obviously yours. Germans don't eat real curry.
Well, seeing that "support" of my opinion is just what I was looking for, I'll take that. Everyone can make up their own minds, but it doesn't change facts being facts.
he deserves to go to the WC what happened to klose, gomez and podolski? right now kuranyi and cacau are doing good
Kiessling did pretty well before the winter break. Since then, he's been spotty at best. But I would agree he deserves a shot to go ahead of Klose, Podolski and Gomez.
Yup and Loew deserves credit for putting his differences aside, even if it came a bit late and forced. Like you said though, wait and see.
If it happen, then yes, he will deserve credit. The argument was just for the well-deserved chance. I said more than once that it doesn't guarantee success.
I'd be very suprised if Joachim Löw nominates him (even with the whole pressure on him from the whole media, fans & "experts").
Sure doesn't but you give the guy who deserves it a chance, just like anyone else who is playing well consistently. Unfortunately Loew has screwed the pooch in that aspect.
low is probably waiting for the end of the season . maybe kuranyi gets injured so he doesn't have to call him up. or klose, gomez or podolski get hot in the last 5-6 games and low can say they're getting into form at the right time and we don't need kuranyi. he's not going to say anything until the season ends.
That would be smart of him. And it is good publicity for him that he might even be talking to Kuranyi.
The smartest thing Kuranyi has done is to keep his mouth shut, play his game and let THAT do the talking for him. I cannot believe he is smart enough to do that on his own, so whoever is counseling him nailed it. Doing so put ALL the pressure on Loew to make the decision. The more Kuranyi keeps his mouth shut and continues to play well, the harder he makes it for Loew NOT to take him. Now, taking him and PLAYING him are two different things, but Loew would be a moron not to try someone in such good form up front from the beginning.
So much is being done to get this guy on the NT. Does anyone expect him to start for Germany because besides not being good enough, no coach would realistically do so. For a potentially #2 bench player, a big deal is surely made. I love how everyone found it the right decision to ban Kuranyi when he did it, yet now that other strikers are not in form and he is, it's totally the opposite and everyone goes back on their word.
