    Oh lol.

With that said, whats up with dempseys eye? What happened???

And seriously... I want to see Dempsey ply his trade in italy now or spain! He shows he can kick ass in England already... I'd love to see him move on to a bigger team like Juve' or a bigger team in spain or italy given his ability with the ball at his feet! But that may be just me.

the question is now, who do we prefer fulham play next

    Standad Liege
    Rubin Kazan/Wolfsburg
    Hamburg
    Liverpool
    Athletico Madrid
    Valencia
    Benfica

for me thats the order. the bottom three scare me as match ups for Fulham, especially Benfica.

    the everton rumor makes sense.

If clint went to spain he would be used exclusively as a 2nd striker, which would be a waste and if he went to Italy his well developed flopping skills would be put to the test.

One thing I do agree with: if he is going to hit top 4 EPL he is going to have to zig-zag up.

Maybe a top Seria A or Liga team then bounce up to the EPL top shelf.

I would like the spanish teams most, germans in the middle and Benfica last.

Benfica has been killing in this competition.

Liverpool? Now that's just asking for poetry and justice in the same sentence.

I listened to that interview and understood him to be saying that he had a choice between shooting or crossing and just decided to go for it (the shot).

Funny, I once had an English girlfriend that was nicknamed "the Blackburn bicycle." I think it must have been because she really like riding bicycles when she was a kid, since I never saw that love of bicycles while we were dating...

The only thing I could do when I saw that goal is yell...loudly. Sure I yelled for the previous 3 goals and uncharacteristically cursed out of joy, but that Dempsey golazo just put me over the top...

Thank you Clint Dempsey for reminding me why you are my favorite USMNT player. Thank you Fulham for reminding me why you are my favorite EPL team.

Apparently, Bob Bradley was at the game. I don't know if he learned anything, but after seeing Bedoya and Goodson give man of the match performances, he seems to be seeing his players at their best.

What a goal. Considering the circumstances, skill and audacity needed, that has to be my favorite YA goal ever.

Cardinals fans refer to this as luggage.

Last year Ryan Ludwick said he fell down and got a black eye from his luggage. In reality, he got jacked by Cy Young winner Chris Carpenter.

He deserved it and started playing better for it.

Not saying that Demps received some luggage. Just saying he scored a series winner.

Shot-cross, he aimed for goal, he didn't look up to see if anyone was making a run, he struck the ball to maximize the chance of scoring directly.

If a cross-shot is something that "plays the percentages" then nearly every shot far post counts.
