Everybody please quit whining about streams. Either go find one yourself or just follow the thread. Jeez.

Arteta warming up, but I don't see him coming in for Landon like last game. Landon is doing a ton of running and tracking back.

for those without video, Everton clear and play the ball behind the D for Saha who starts his run at midfield.

LD starts his run fromm 80 yards out, runs by the entire Sunderland defense and pull even with Saha at the top of the sunderland 18. Saha has no idea and his shot is blocked (don't know that a cross would have made it across)

Everton: way too much "ahh just kick it upfield" for my taste. painful to watch.

Donovan's situation is kind of similar to Claudio Reyna's when he was at SAFC and Citeh -- surrounded by a bunch of "boot it upfield" players. those teams relied on Reyna's presence for needed class and possession. while LD is on a different place on the pitch, it is obvious that they need LD's class, because Everton have way too many guys who just boot it upfield, instead of trying to build up an attack on the ground.

frankly, Everton are quite painful to watch. although you can't argue with recent results.

Neville is just utterly awful. It's a shame Donovan has to play above him.

and don't forget that on LD's shot (that was cleared off the line by McCarthy), Saha was wide open in front of the goal, screaming for the pass. i knew Saha wasn't going to give it up there. not a chance in hell. assists from Saha FC are like withdrawing from a bank. you have to deposit 2X your amount to get 1 withdrawal. :D

hope the one i sent to some of you worked for a while but of course i've been without stream myself now for the last 15 min or so.

So he had his shot cleared off the line eh? Any more plaudits from the announcers. I'm hoping for somthing like "2.5 million buy out, a top four club will swoop him up"

I don't entirely agree. Everton have a lot of class (at least a lot more than Reyna's SAFC or City clubs had), but the direct and ugly approach just seems more effective for them.

80 Suderland's Jones from T&T with a nice run and misses the goal,no threat for Timmeh. But Everton seem to have lost control of the midfield as Sunderland is pressing.
