I'll add him to my list when I see him on the club's roster page or mentioned in a match report. (Anyone seen that?)

A Roberto Maddolini appears with the U-14 team. Most likely a relation and another Yank.

I can confirm that it's his brother.

    Dave,

Just found this site (it might be old hat for you) but you can search from this page for Yanks. You'll have alot of MLS players and unaffiliated players, but you might turn up a couple of previously unknowns. You can search by country of birth or nationality to find Yanks. Just use the drop down boxes to the right.

Thanks. I've never really messed with this site, but it seems to have some promise. It did turn up a new player in Belgium, and some other possiblities as well.

I will say that site is a little out of date for some teams. I know a former Wizard (non-American) is listed as playing for the club in Argentina he played for last season.

True. But it's still better than trying to read French to get results for Westberg at ESTAC. :)

Dave, do you know the citizenship status of Gabriel Funes?

He was the FCD's 2008 MLS Sueno winner, and made his debut for River Plate this past weekend.

All I know is that he moved to the states when he was 10.

I'd guess that if there was a US-eligible player actually getting first team minutes at River Plate...........we'd know it.

Far as anyone could establish during the thread we had going a while back, the Funes brothers aren't Yanks.

Maybe he'll pull Lyle Yorks and become an agent.

What about Matthew Luzunaris, an '89 who appears to be at SK Rapid Wien II in the Austrian Regionalliga Ost?

Also in Austria, one of the Ochoas, Armando, another '89, w/ SC Rheindorf Altach in the Erste Liga:

Then there's San Diego-born '88 Reece Crowther of Wellington Phoenix FC, New Zealand's entry in the A-League:

    Hey Dan,

Looks like another Yank potentially in Germany. I did a search on this forum and didn't see anything recent on Chris Wright, but he is an American on trial this week with Energie Cottbus' U23 side:
