Good match for Matsui vs Lyon. A lot of activy, defensive work, showed some skills, behaved like a true warrior.
I feel Le Mans's Daï is coming back.

Sho Ito is coming back too, I bet you forgot him ...

Woah, what is happening in Venlo? Leading 5-0 without Honda scoring? ;)
    Is anybody watching?

Sho Ito has began to run, his physical tests are good.

Sho has started to touch the ball. He was injuried since the beginning of the season and has passed an IRM thad showed that is he going to be completely healed. The medical staff expects him to come back to the group until 3 weeks.

How many assists for Honda ?

calabro's 2 goals were both rebounds from honda's shots that got saved.

how the hell did Ito get injured? slip getting off the reserves bench badly?

Thanks, but I doubt that recovering from injury would make him contender for a squad spot. How long is it now that he didn't get playing time in a competitive match?

However, Ono is starting today against HSV.

Grenoble has only 2pts after 13 weeks, lost 10 matchs in a row to begin the season. In that kind of situation, I think everybody got a chance to prove what he is capable of. Plus, there are a lot of injuries and yesterday, the only striker available was Akrour (good player) who is 34.
I don't think Ito will create an upset, but there is a chance that we'll see him on the bench. Maybe ...

How long should we wait until we can say that Nakas move to Espanyol is total failure?

calabro is an ass. He doesn't even acknowledge Honda for his 2 gooals when he celebrated.

I haven't really been keeping track, but it seems like normal failure so far. Maybe "total failure" would be Okada stops playing him on NT because he isn't playing?

Agree, but it loook like all goals the celebrated dint see Honda joining at all, i guess Honda really gonna leave the club next year at January.

    Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R]

I understand your point. But with recent results proving as maybe a turning point, I tend to think that Grenoble will do everything to consolidate. Maybe signing players with relegation-fight experience during the winter, rather than playing young unproven players would be more common in a situation like that.
Anyway, Ljuboja is not injured, is he? I remember him from the Bundesliga, where he had disciplinary problems with each of his 3 clubs, but he seems to do alright now?

    Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R]

You have to understand Calabro's state of mind at that very moment, last time out he got his nose butchered by one of Sparta's players and well he wanted his (sportive) revenge. He pointed at Honda after his first goal I believe after Honda took his sweet time to make it over to where he was celebrating. He gave Honda his props in the post match interview as well, saying that if Honda shoots it's usually at the target and all he needs to do is score in the rebound.

That said, Honda really wanted to score a goal and looked really frustrated at times. He nearly flipped out at Schaken for not passing to him when he was in front of goal. Even though the game was lost for Sparta he was still the only player who was shackled by at least one opponent.

I think you guys are exaggerating too much.

It was probably spur of the moment and I think that even if he didnt acknowledge him that he still respects Honda.

Seen some articles saying that he has gotten offers from England, but there hasn't been and new news yet. Probably not until the season is over.

He said he'll make his mind up on the 25th november (tomorrow) so I guess there'll be some headlines soon.

The only thing I know is that Urawa won't offer Tulio a new contract anyways because Tulio and Finke hate each other. Accoding to the latest report, Nagoya are trying to sign him. I want him to stay in Japan.

The Twente chairman has confirmed that negotiations are on-going so this is not a rumour.

I don't know if Tulio is the player to fix a defensive line. He's running everywehere, he tries crazy technical moves, sometimes he's playing like a forward ... He's a great player overall but he's not enough focused on defending.

Twente is not a bad choice, they are currently nr 1 in Eredivise. But I still prefer EPL.

Well, well, you think you can pass such insults from the other side of the world based on what? Calabro has expressed his admiration for Honda's qualities many times before this match, but you little man think when you think you see a lack of appreciation to start insulting a person you donot even know.
