Lets continue the Germans Abroad thread here! Shkodran Mustafi joins Everton http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12875_5313421,00.html
Why? What's wrong with the other thread? https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=960230&page=2 Also it's kinda sucks for the German youth teams to have their most talented players taken away without getting any money. Hamburg was pretty up front about it. If your strategy is to make money through good youth-work things like this just shouldn't happen too often. Mustafi to Everton, Karius and this other kid from Stuttgart to city, Buchtmann to Liverpool I also think Schalke just lost a kid to City. Btw, there are rumours of Huth to Schalke. A Höwedes Huth partnership would be great imo.

Saved me the hassle [/fake mod] EDIT: Boateng just called me... He's going to beat you and me and F96 down Ahh but alas he does enjoy being on the phone with me
So does KP Boateng still count as a German abroad after declaring for Ghana? I say yes, if Rossi is a YA, than KPB is still a GA. From Pompey's message board:
Yes, I came to the comparison, because the picture with the hammer let me remember these guys: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjRD5u0MOVU"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjRD5u0MOVU[/ame]
Great game by Ballack in today win vs. Liverpool. Could have had a goal but hit the header over the bar. Played the full 90.
Good to know, thanks. It's funny, but Chelsea looked unstoppable at the beginning of the season. Then he is injured and misses a game, and Chelsea lose. Now he is back, and they start winning again. Of course it's not just because of him, but Ballack is one of those players whose real worth for the team is most obvious when he isn't playing. His contribution is often overlooked / underrated. Good to know that he is in good shape. We'll need a Ballack in top shape next week in Moscow.
I haven't seen him play this well in over 2 years. Hope he can keep it up. I also hope Loew utilizes him properly to get the best out of him and therefore the team.
I'd be very surprised if Löw doesn'*t stick to the 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 against Russia, especially because it is prefered by Ballack. A defensively minded midfielder behind him, a #10 / attacking midfielder in front of him, his ideal position.
You haven't seen him own Liverpool everytime he plays them with Chelsea? Anyway, Robert Huth an Kevin-Prince Boateng both make Soccernet's PL team of the week.
