I'm leaving tomorrow night, cannot wait!

If any of you are willing to PM me your email address or contact info I'd appreciate it. I'd like to be in the loop of what's going on out there with the US supporters.

^^ good bars at Zona Rosa... (j/k:p )

I just wanted to wish good luck to the Nads fans that are going to Mexico City... It's going to be one hell of an experience. I might meet some of you there, since I'm going with a few American fans...

Here's hoping you dont get a lot of "processed beer" thrown at you... :p Then again, not many people will be above you in the nosebleed section.

So much to do :D, shopping, getting to know the REAL mexican food, you can visit the UNAM, walk thru the srteets of san angel and coyoacan, etc. Mexico City is a huge cosmopolitan city, you will find something to do =)

7 from NY/NJ on the ground at the Galeria, 2 from motor city. It's sunny and almost cool here, mid-70s & jeans weather. I hope to hell it's like this on Wednesday...that would be amazing.

After you pass immigration simply follow the signs to the taxi stand; ignore anyone who approaches you offering a ride. Before you walk outside the terminal, look for a glass booth. There should be two, one for regular sedan taxis, the other for vans. Tell the cashier which district you are going to (for most people it will be Zona Rosa), you then prepay the fare. The cashier will hand you a voucher/receipt, walk outside and you will see a line of taxis which are painted white and mustard yellow with an aeroplane logo. Simply hand the driver your voucher and tell him the name of your hotel. No tip is expected unless the driver helps carry your bags. If you're not sure what zone your hotel is in the cashier will look it up for you. It's a very civilized system.

Here now Hotel Del Principado, amazing ride from the airport, the air is clean and clear after a light rain, fantastic city, you'll see. I turn on the Tv everyone is talking about the game, MLS highlights, Donovan curling in a goal against New England... Let it BE!

Yeah, the weather here looks like Ft. Lauderdale in November or something, totally different from the Monday morning in 2005 after the game, when the trucks & cars fired up again after the easter weekend and it was like breathing through a giant dirt sock.

My flight is at 7 AM. I have to be at the airport no later than 5, meaning I have to leave the house at 4. I don't get off of work until midnight. It's going to be a long night.

I'm bout to pass out in my hotel room right now. My flight left at midnight and I didn't sleep at all like some of you. I went all around the city today eating street food and looking at beautiful women but I think I will go to sleep right now. If the weather is anything like it was today it'll be perfect! No smog whatsoever and pretty cool day all around.

If anyone wants to roll to Teotihuacan tomorrow morning pm me. I'll check my pm's before I leave.
