Small talk. I like small talk.

What's everyone's plans for the CL Final?
Where you watching it, and who you rooting for?

As for the Confederations Cup - Anyone here interested in that?

I'm hoping to find someplace around here that will be showing it, and not in like a back room. Except I'm not sure if that is happening, because we're also in the middle of moving. So don't know if I will have the time. Glory glory!

Also, I am 99% going to the AC Milan/Club America match in Georgia this summer! Excited, as it will be my first professional game! (besides USWNT vs Canada a few years back, but I mean like club ball)

CL Final I may not bother with. Confed cup is the same.

I'm all for the U21 tourney, Lions tour and the Ashes.

Works been nuts, but I'm home for a day, then headed out of town for vacation. One week in the OBX. Nothing but sand, water, food, drink and friends.

OBX = The Outer Banks. It's a string of barrier islands off the coast of North Carolina. Basically, one long ass beach.

the outer banks of North Carolina. Where Blackbeard made his home. the graveyard of the atlantic. where flight become reality. where you brits tried to make a colony and failed. where horse roam wild. tis a glorious place that holds a special place in my heart.

I am heading out there to our vacation house tomorrow afternoon and escaping the madness of NASCAR for the weekend.

I'm off to play an inter-uni football game in the next hour or so - in my position of defensive-mid!
Well, playing down a few levels, I just position myself infront of the defense, and slide side to side, bit like a foozball player. I touch the ball maybe 4 times in a half, but it is somewhat effective.

Should one keep personal discontent with coaching staff quiet if voicing your opinions will serve to detriment ones own AMATEUR sports teams:

Growing discontent from a faction within a team, which you can relate to with your own personal issues with the coaching staff. The team is successful despite of this. Your voice carries weight and an outburst will likely exaccerbate the divide....

Case, while I definitely see your point, unless there will be a greater-good constructive outcome to a rant, I suppose it's best to stay quiet. Maybe just lock yourself in a room and scream and bang the wall in frustration?

Speaking of frustration. My home was burgled again, last week. I graduate from my current degree at the end of next year. I would then be an architectural technologist, but not yet an architect. For that, I would need to work for a year, and then do a further 2 years studies.

I'm thinking of packing it all in come the end of next year, to search mediterranean Europe for a simple life, with a less-qualified job, to enjoy a lifestyle that involves social-interaction!!

After having to endure years and years of my grandfather's constant racist remarks and prejudice, I took a stand against him.

He went on to say that I am a minority part of the world's society, that believes in racial equality.
He then said that people who stick up for such minorities generally have a chip on their shoulder, and are usually homosexual.

I was astounded at what he was insinuating, and then went on to tell him that he was in fact in the minority, in his belief for racial inequality.

And so kicked me out of the house, pointed his finger in my face, and shouted, "If that's what you believe, then goodbye, Goodbye, GOODBYE!"

Looooooool. Jimmy Carr did make a funny joke about Nick Griffin the other day, saying that the BNP moan everyone is biased. He said "it is true, you can only talk about their leader when the watershed has passed, and even then they usually bleep out the word c**t" loooool.

Checkin in by the way, how is everyone?
