If you're referring to the fact that Franklin's cartoon depicted a chopped up snake, then you're missing the fact that it symbolized the fact that they are dangerous when joined together. The name and snake go hand-in-hand. This is a terrific badge. It will definitely be in the top tier of MLS.

I just want to know when I can get a jersey/scarf/etc. I don't own a car, so this soccer corner place in Lancaster is out for me, but what other soccer shops are around center city or close to a train? (or within bikeable distance to the city or train)

Having said that, the crest is absolutely amazing, and well worth the wait. It is everything that I said I wanted. It is classy, historical, and really looks like a football crest should. Well done to the entire OG, and I'm looking foreward to expressing my disgust at someone's premature publication!
