I gotta say I actually quite like it, though I prefer the earlier concept with the white collar and sleve trim.

Isn't this the same template Nike used with Mexico for the World Cup? Not exactly the same but pretty similar.

I think it is nice. It even has that crest thing in black like we have right now for our logo on the shirt.

The "V" on this shirt is not as big as the one on the United shirt, more straight.

It has to be all red. Let them dick around with the Away kit if they want to do something different.

99% sure there will be a V in either white or black on the home shirt.

They probably will dick around with the away shirt as well though.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is the one that has been talked about right now, or that one with the big V that was leaked on newspapers, branding them "vulgar" and stuff.

it kinda goes in a rotation....so yeah black is due, and that last black kit was the best!

I prefer that to the white mock-up that did the rounds, that had a HUGE wingey white collar thing. Just looked rediculously camp! Having black on the home kit does have precedent. Nike put black side panels on the 02-04 kit, and black has popped up as a trim colour on several red kits over the years. Some only as piping or on the collar.

But yes, would prefer all-red. I like the current one!

As to the new sponsor, Saudi Telecom are not confirmed yet. United are in "advanced discussions" with them. Along with Prudential, and NBTY (I think) which is some nutritions company.

Companies will claim to be in talks if they have had a couple of faxes from United, advanced discussions is when they have actually followed up the mild interest to talk about numbers. Many firms will claim a link to United just to glean some temporary glory by being able to link their name with United, even if it is for a short time.

As it stands, AIG is the sponsor for next year, and we will have a new sponsor signed up over the next few months. I would guess some time this summer we will start to hear noises. Though given how we have AIG signed up at the moment, I would not be surprised if we had to wait until towards the tail end of next season!

Has anyone had any luck finding an away (white) shirt with Champions League printing? I'd like one to wear during the Final, with the CL and CWC patches also. Thanks.

Not a fan of that "leaked" kit design. Looks like the Babes tribute home strip of 2 seasons ago with a black chevron tacked on.

Since there's no new info yet, how abotu some swag for the C/L Finale?
