i am disappointed to hear that Roda Antar left a mid table bundesliga club who he was starting for in the beginning of the season. He will be playing i think AFC CL matches, but the level is def different. So now we have Youssef mohammad the only lebanese playing in top europe side, we need more lebanese playing abroad. Also what were the attendances for the AFC cup for the lebanese clubs?

FCMB now you support Shandong ????!!!!!! because of Roda ? he has made a mistake leaving Cologne, he should have fought his way through and maybe if it did not work out wait til summer and get a transfer to a bundesliga team ... I wonder how we played against namibia, and hope that we won ... we need to get our ranking up. Btw dont we play syria in the World cup qualifier or the asian qualifier... I know we play em sometime ... hope for the best

He didn't. Following the news I realized that there were a lot of problems between him and the colonge management, it's better for him and his carrer to go to China and try his luck over there.

    The game is next Wednesday.

March 2010. They'll face China next November, but anyways the National team is hopeless and they'll lose all their matches.

Namibia and Lebanon drew 1-all in a soccer friendly in Beirut on Wednesday afternoon. Playing in front of barely 100 spectators, After a goalles first half Namibia took the lead on 71m when Rudolph Bester beat two defenders and slotted the ball home from close range. Namibia had however barely stopped celebrating when Lebanon struck the equaliser two minutes later after a defensive mixup in Namibia's goalmouth.

Namibia did most of the attacking in the first half and wasted two more opportunities to increase the lead. First recalled midfielder Razundara Tjikuzu headed narrowly over the crossbar and then striker Wilko Risser also shot narrowly wide of the target.

Namibia played more defensively in the second half and Lebanon took advantage to score the equaliser on 73m. Namibia’s defence failed to clear the ball and a Lebanon striker pounced to stab the loose ball into the net.

Namibian coach Tom Saintfiet used the match to test out some new combinations using some of Namibia’s foreign-based players for the first time. They included Turkish-based Tjikuzu and Henrico Botes of Platinum Stars.

The Namibian team was as follows:
Athiel Mbaha, Richard Gariseb, Hartman Toromba, Ivan Namaseb (Steven Goaxub 75’), George Hummel (Oliver Risser 46’), Quiton Jacobs, Razundara Tjikuzu (Lazarus Kaimbi 55’), Sydney Plaatjies (Rudi Louw 65’), Collin Benjamin, Rudolph Bester (Paulus Shipanga 46’), Wilko Risser (Henrico Botes 46’).

I swear, I hate that idiot Emile Rustom. Nejmeh had a 10 points lead after the first round now it's only one point.

this is a great tournament in my opinion for lebanon as a country and a football nation. The abvious candidate for the tournament is France, and hopefully we do not get knocked out of the first round. I am really interested in seeing our u21 generation. FCMB do you know who would be playing for us?
